this is a copycat from ca.com... anyone know what their vehicle will do? i just got a gtech from ebay..man, this thing is neat. i haven't used the gforce measurements yet... wife's 2004 pontiac grand prix gt2 with the 3.8ltr 200hp SAE net rating...0-60 in 8.1 sec with the 1/4 mile going by in 16.4 @ 87mph...no hp readings yet. my 2004 siverado with the 295hp SAE net rated 5.3ltr did 9.1secs 0-60, with the 1/4 going by in 17.1 @ 81 mph. with a GVWR of 6400pds (minus 4 ppl i inputed 5700pds), i got a 235 hp rating including drag at the wheels. a friend's 1987 buick turbo t did the 0-60 in 5.4 secs with the 1/4 going by in 12.5 @ 115 mph. he's also putting 250 hp to the grou…

A possible job opportunity has presented itself; however, it is a good 1,000 miles (according to Google Maps) away near Augusta, GA. Because of this, I've been scouring the internet for days now gathering information, but 1st hand knowledge almost always trumps the internet. What I'm looking for most is information on the different neighborhoods. I'm not picky about where I live, I'd just rather not have to worry about getting mugged/shot at, have my stuff constantly stolen by junkies, and the like. A little culture wouldn't hurt, nor would easy access to shopping and/or farmer's markets. Any additional information, large or small, will be greatly appreciated as well.

Its the time of year where Michigan Tech in Houghton, Michigan holds their annual Winter Carnival. Students get this thursday and friday off to enjoy a break in studies and enjoy our vast amounts of snow. There are a few main attractions for Carnival, one is the huge ice and snow sculptures that are made. Most aren't fully complete yet so i won't post pictures of those until tomorrow. The other attraction is a little setup our AES (Audio Engineering Society) chapter puts together.
