I have never had any experience with extra batteries or alt's so I can't help there but, I could tell you how to wire it from ur battery under the hood to ur amp: I have a 4 gauge EFX amplifier Wiring Kit which I ran through to the battery under the carpet next to the brake and then screwed it onto the top of the battery and attached the ring to the battery's cell connector...from there it all depends on ur amp and sub(s) for how u coonect the wires in the back...

Interesting. You purposefully spin my question and then begin to argue against your own claim. A strawman at its "best." I asked whether the individual read the whole thread, as his comments did not follow what was already posted. There's a world of difference between that and your disingenuous assertion asking whether one can read. Too, if you can illustrate how I misrepresented a post, please do so. Just saying it is equivalent to blowing smoke. How does he know without listening to the setup in the car, as he as no idea as to the room gain and in-cabin response. Why do I feel like I'm repeating myself? Clearly, you've read my others posts and we still get this gem of…

If you want lightweight, Baltic birch ply in 3/4" will be the same or less weight than a 1/2" mdf enclosure. Considering weight & SQ are your paramount issues, I would 1) Limit the enclosure material weight, obviously IB is best, small sealed 2nd, 2) Pick my driver based on what it can do, but also with enclosure size as part of the equation, 3) Limit the overall weight of the driver as this will make a HUGE impact on the overall weight. So what am I saying? I'd use a different sub and just a single one. That will give you more weight savings than looking at just the thickness of the enclosure. If you do use both, I would argue that you aren't that concerned with …

  13. lol, you don't recommend the 2400s but you tell him to listen to what i say and i say it's fine... He is really gonna be confused now, lol. 2 HC2400s are fine. If you are a Kinetik fan, that model number is what you want, 2 of them. If you are Powermaster fan, go with 2 XS D3100s... The Powermaster's are generally $30 more than the Kinetik's and i am biased to say that's what i'd use simply because their companies support forum is on this site if you have any questions. Haha Gotcha and ok Im just gonna go with the PowerMasters, you use them and you recommend them so there's no reason they should work for me.

  14. Scott/Nick/Whoever , I realize you guys are busy, but I haven't gotten a response to my last email 2 weeks ago so I thought I'd try here. I've committed myself to a deal with someone else, so I have to get this taken care of. I discussed a solution with Scott but I haven't received what was offered (generously). Can someone please update me on this or if the original agreement won't work out now send me a bill for what I need to pay to get this resolved? Send me a PM and I can forward the email if needed. My email below should pull up the history to sales @ .. ficaraudio.com. Bryan [email protected]

Its 4.5" LENGTH after the corner of the port. Not width. It's stilll 5" wide. Nice design! Not talking about the length that is given. 15.25" port wall + .75" for the second wall = 16" 20.5" of internal depth - 16" = 4.5" away from the rear wall. Not to mention if it was 5" from the back it would be tuned to 34hz
