Pretty much, yes. I've weighed both. Thankfully, BJ doesn't use MDF. Errr..."HUGE?" It's non-rotational, sprung weight with a low center of gravity. "HUGE" is reducing the weight at the wheel. I considered IB. It would be an ideal solution. Here are the problems. I can't use the doors, as I'm not willing to modify the stock speaker mounts relative to their depth. The rear deck would work if I could isolate it, but that would require sealing every hole in the sheetmetal, and I'm also not willing to do that, either. I wish the car was more better suited for IB, as that's what I'd definitely go with. Plus, IB can make for terrific SQ. So, a small box in the trunk is my only option. I really wish it weren't.
