What type of saw do you use when cutting a sheet of mdf? Also what type of blade do you have on your saw? Would a carbide tip blade on a skillsaw work? I'll be using a skillsaw to cut my sheet of mdf into a couple of smaller pieces, so that I can fit it into my work area where my table saw is, which also has a carbide tip blade on it.. does this sound ok to you? Gnome seeing ur a box builder maybe u can verify my dimensions,I made a box thats 36 x 13.5 x 15(external).The port is 3 w x 12h x 38L(tuning around 30-32hz?) ,how's this sound to u?...Is the box too big?....I can cut it down from one side but thats it,thanx in advance for ur input!

Do you have any special tips or tricks for this sub? This is goin in the back of an old vw bug convertible. I plan do do it downfiring and the port firing up for anti-theft/destruction purposes. The box will be bolted down from the inside. About 36 sq inches of port area and 1.5-2 cubes of airspace.

I have two boxes right now that have been returned for credit by their original purchasers. Both are in perfect condition and I'm offering them for less than they originally sold for. The first is a 1.5 sealed box for a single 12". It's built to the ED O series specs on ED's website and has a large cup terminal. I will let this one go for $50+shipping. The second is a 4.5 cuft duel-tuned ported box for 2 12's. The first port is tuned to 62hz with MASSIVE port area for SPL comps and the included plug changes the tuning to 34hz for daily use.
