I've heard that RD Audio amps work better straped. Again, Just what I heard. Don't know for sure. I run my sub amp a 8 ohm mono.

Hey Kryptonitewhite. I was looking at the pics of the way you wired those toggle switches, if you don't wire the accessory spade to ground the lights/switch may burn out. I'd wire a jumper from one to the next and so on then to ground so you don't have issues later.

I sold a 10w3v3 in a JL spec ported box powered off a 400rms Hifonics amp. will one of these 8's with the same amp and the perfect box have more SPL? audio savings (on smd) has big ass rolls of stinger 0awg for $179... & vic, if u cant fit all the port on the driver side the conventional way just center the subs (vertically in the wall) & 45 the tops & bottom of the port... =].

You should deaden first, adjust your aiming, connect them active and then describe what you don't like so we can give specific recommendations. Less harsh than Focal is easy, I can hardly think of a tweeter that is more harsh More midbass is also easy. Deaden first, then cone area if possible. Again understanding your real limitations will help narrow this down.

You check out the cresendo audio 3kwp. It's .5 ohm stable. Just a suggestion.
