sorry for all the replies guys...i think that if i played the volume higher the sub would eventually get louder but about 20 is where im playing it at and even then its almost to loud for my ears. i dont know if this has anything to do with it.

can't say it any better in terms of SQ the DLS A amps are awesome (had an A6 myself) but i also love my sundown amps you just can't compare them, both are great products, but it's like comparing apples and oranges Yes, in terms of SQ I would say DLS.

I have the Optimas and they are nice, but they do not have big AH numbers so you would need a bunch of them. Look at Deka or XS Power and get one big one. If I had it to do over again that is what I would do. Your buddy is pretty dumb, but you don't need a very big alt for what you have. An alt upgrade without a battery upgrade is kinda pointless so I would add the extra battery first. If you're still having problems, then think about an alt, but the battery makes the biggest difference on transient draw (which your audio system is).

GTs are so damn sweet in person!! I can't wait to see the V-10 Cobra concept. That thing sounded so mean on TV, I'd love to hear it in person. As for the Mustang GT, body kits are GHEY, ON ANY VEHICLE, well, at least the over dramatic aftermarket ones. THe subtle Saleen and Rousch kits I like.
