I have the same question. Are they true 2ohm because when I used my dmm and measured each coil out of box I was getting 2.6ohm and 2.8ohm. When I wire 2 subs up to .5ohm I got a reading .67ohm which would be great for my amps.

I just picked up a pair of MTX Thunder TA81001D amps, and according to the engineers at MTX there is no way to disable the subsonic filter or bypass the built in EQ in the pre-amp board (which is a crock). The TA92001, TE4001, and TE1501 units all have a button to bypass all of this garbage, but no such button exists on the TA81001. If you take the pre-amp board out, you can clearly see a spot on the board for the bypass switch - Labeled as "S102". MTX refuses to give me a schematic or instructions on what needs to be jumpered, removed, etc. to eliminate the EQ and Subsonic filter pieces. Not sure if this is the right section for this, but I don't know where else to put it. *****or w/e his screen handle is...does anyone know him? I sent him $145 for a Kinetik last Thursday and he called me on Monday to say he'd recieved the MO I sent him. I saw he has a ton of references on CA.com so I figured he was ok to buy from.. Its been 2 days, I haven't heard from this guy...and he wont return messages or phone calls. Now I have $145 wrapped up in this guy with nothing to show for it...
