I am trying to determine whether or not to get the "Heat Ring" option for my FI Q 12". It says it is supposed to help lower inductance and help overall transient response, but not sure if I should get it or not. Anyone have more knowledge on this than me or previous experiences? Thanks

Need to replace my starting battery on a 1999 chevy s10 blazer.Whats a good replacement to keep up with around 1600 watts. Then you'd have a BTL ..if BTL slugs were used. We're not going to do 3 slugs on the BL's, it yields no more motor strength and there's no sense in doing it in a high xmax coil... Goal with the BL is basically a cheaper alternative to the BTL, and it sounds like that you want a BTL to me .

I was wondering what problems, if any, i might run into using 2 different voice coils subs in my setup. I am wanting to use a dual 1 ohm sub (wired @ 2) and a dual 2 ohm sub (wired @ 1). Also, is there a calculator or a formula to figure the ohm results from wiring these subs different ways. trying to get between 1 and 2 ohms resistance, but want to see all of my options.
