Topic Description and title is pretty cut and dry. I ordered one for a planned Dodge Challenger install. Challenger changed to an SRT8 Magnum, so two were needed. The 30 Day build time killed that as I needed it in two weeks. No fault to Fi, as its good to see their business is picking up. Anyway, had to go with DC soundlab subs and now have the Fi Sub for sale. FI BTL 12 Dual 1 Fully loaded, silver dust cap. Stil in box, screwed to the shipping materials. Never used. You know what. I have not seen an answer that is any help at all. Lots of people here wondering if this or if that with only the lamest remarks I have seen in a long time. Even the most simple laws of electronics are not known here. My God, I did not have dead batteries or any other problem. It could have been a bad alternator as well. This is why I am asking these questions. I had installed years ago a new Ford OEM alternator and it quit within a month. So it would not surprise me one bit. It happens. No problem. I just want to identify the problem. Being on a small Island doesn't help in terms of knowledge... Thanks. JR

What I meant was that the subs are not connected together. They run of their own amps. I have the Brutus 2600 watts Rms amps. 2 brutus 2600Rms amps run off of the batteries. The way I got to the total watts is simple. I have two Kinetiks 3800 watts as stated on their website. The ford has two 850 amp batteries. 850x12v =10200 watts x 2 =20400 + the two kinetics =28000. as far as I know I x V = watts. These is what the batteries supposedly hold all together. So why all these questions about equipment instead of a helpful answer. Thanks.

hello everyone i just got a quick question. i need some advice, I have a 2006 cadillac escalade with 26"s on it and i got 1 12inch jl audio w7 with a 2000 watt amp. it pounds really hard, its hits 135 on the decimal reading. i want to know what kind of door speakers to get so that I have amazing hi's in my doors. i want to be super loud and screaming over my base . what should i get? give me some insight. i got money so the cost dnt matter. hit me up

i was on youtube and saw this guy with 4 18" in a tahoe, ***** ***** i think his name is? i would like to buy the same type of sub woofer(one of course), there is alot of option on the btl . spl or daily, dual two or dual one ohm and some other things. does anyone know the exact type of btl he uses??? Glad you could join us It depends on what size your stock alternator is, hook everything up and buy a voltmeter. Once your out jamming, watch your voltage and if you dont have any drops then your good and if you do then go buy another battery.
