Started on the BIBs tonight. Modified the plans slightly. External Dimensions: 6.25"W x 7.25" D x 72" high Internal Dimensions: 4.75"W x 7.25" D x 60" high I have a foot of empty space to use as ballast on the bottom. Did this also to raise the driver to ear level (~4ft). L = 121.559" Sm = 34.4375 in^2 Vd = 2.423 ft^3 Zdriver = 24" A=B=C= 3.625" Unfortunately, I did not receive the drivers this week, have to wait until Monday now. I'll have pictures of the enclosures tomorrow when I glue them all together.

I am because I like you Bobby, you could try my Orions, they will eat the 1500 and love it all. But they also have great SQ at lower wattages. edit by Sean: I moved this here as it is another attempt to sell the Orions without having the requirements fulfilled.

My 3-way Bravox are all in my kicks. You can't tell, my stage is still ~6 inches above the dash. If you are doing an array (even a small one) my opinion would be to stack the drivers vertically and not horizontally. Something similar to your 5th picture above. The reason I would say this is because the dispersion is reduced in the orientation of the array, which works to our advantage if you're trying to avoid reflections, and generally the off-axis FR is also worse in the orientation of the array. So if you stack vertically you are limiting dispersion towards the dash and floor which reduces reflections and you aren't sitting in the off-axis area, if you run the arra…

Got 2 D3100's new they sit at 14.4volts , charged with the Intellicharger on 12volt / AGM Low / 25Amp settings and it charges them at 16volts according to my DMM. After charging for 2hours it went to float and I pulled the charger off them , now they are sitting at 15volts . Gonna check real resting voltage in 8-10hours . Whats the deal with my charger going so high on the 12volt setting ? That normal ?

The slopes are 24db's on the RF Power amps, but he doesnt need to run the amp, and hu crossover though right. He should just use the crossover on the amp since the slope is already 24 db, and he can turn his gain back up too right to maybe 3/4 of the way. My Kenwood has 4v preouts and I have my gain just up above 1/4 of the way and my sub volume on +9 out of -15 to +15. I know JL slash amps have balanced differential inputs I rarely had to turn the gain up on it to get good output and it sounded alot louder than 500 watts. I miss that amp. bakedboy I'm glad you started to figure it out, now you can let that sub tear your car apart.
