sorry if this isn't the place for this but he said the style alternator that it was built for was the large case chevy alternators. and this bracket is not meant to moutn to the stock alternator it is mean to go on the power steering pump on the lower passenger side of the engine. thanks!

First budget savings would be to go to a single sub with more cone area, but impossible for us to recommend without knowing box size constraints. Which amp are you planning on now? Hifonics makes a lot of crappy amps.. Have you thought about two 8's possibly? The Ascendant Audio line makes a bunch of great sounding subs.
