I was wondering what problems, if any, i might run into using 2 different voice coils subs in my setup. I am wanting to use a dual 1 ohm sub (wired @ 2) and a dual 2 ohm sub (wired @ 1). Also, is there a calculator or a formula to figure the ohm results from wiring these subs different ways. trying to get between 1 and 2 ohms resistance, but want to see all of my options.

First budget savings would be to go to a single sub with more cone area, but impossible for us to recommend without knowing box size constraints. I am generally an amp is an amp guy, but the Kenwoods lately I have seen are not worth owning. In your budget you should also be shopping used. It will help a ton. I realize you were hoping for recommendations, but availability is not so easy and your budget is rather constrained. You are starting to go down the right path though Thanks M5. Are Cadence component speakers any good? I think I found a good deal on a new pair of Cadence ZRS65KS 6.5" for only $55. I do have an amp that is powering the front speakers in my truck, …

I'm sorry I'm looking to upgrade to a 15 inch sub. Also do you think that a 4.1 cf box tuned to 37hz would be a great box for a nightshade? Or would the 37hz be to high a tuning?

Hello, I was referred to you by users on the FI audio forums. I'm looking for a box to fit my 12" fully loaded BTL (2010) series subwoofer. This will be going into a 2000 Toyota Camry, if it helps. I would like to know how much it would cost to have this made and shipped. Thank you for your time.

I'm looking to purchase a box design for 2 12 L7's! I dont want to do a traditional ported design! I want to do something sweet! Like a T-LINE or anything that you would be proud of putting your name on! I called you yesterday and left a message but got no response so I thought I'd post here! Max dimensions are 20h,48w,16d. This years L7 with all the power in the world to push em! Dual 2 ohm coils! I also got a nightshade 18 that I want to do in the future! On the L7's I want it to be a street BEATER! I want to build it myself just wanting to purchase the cutsheets and 3-D layout!

Alright...decided to go with the 12" BTL N2, fully loaded daily. Can't wait to get it! Went with the 12 strictly for space purposes, 4-5 cubes isn't realistic with my current setup, and I still would like to use my trunk on occasion. Gonna build a 2.5 cu. ft. 32hz box and see how it does with 1200w for awhile. Anyone have specs for an enclosure this size?

Post up all the box designs you have in this thread could be very helpful to other members, and save them a little time and hassle.

Since I haven't had any takers on the sale yet. And no one must need an amp to go along with their subs. All you have to do is buy a sub to get a free enclosure. And pay shipping of course. AND I will give $50 dollars to the person who referred you to this deal. All I need is there name and contact information and I will send them $50 to their paypal account. SO TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW: THEY BUY A SUB, THEY GET A FREE BOX, AND YOU GET $50

Call me a pessimist, but that's way too much reading for some of these people that can barely read/string sentences together. I mean hell, make a post that's longer than three sentences and you're liable to get a "Cliff's Notes?" response from some of these people But I agree totally with everything in there, and it does need to be posted somewhere. Thanks.
