http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...?showtopic=7116 With one battery, stock alt (about the same as the Civic in output), 1510 watts @ 12.4 volts. With another battery, stock alt, 1635 watts @ 12.8 volts. So... between 1500 and 1600 watts or so, give or take a few percentage --- This battery fits in the newer Civic (this is mine). Only have to notch the battery tie-down, literally, that is ALL you need to do:

What I meant was that the subs are not connected together. They run of their own amps. I have the Brutus 2600 watts Rms amps. 2 brutus 2600Rms amps run off of the batteries. The way I got to the total watts is simple. I have two Kinetiks 3800 watts as stated on their website. The ford has two 850 amp batteries. 850x12v =10200 watts x 2 =20400 + the two kinetics =28000. as far as I know I x V = watts. These is what the batteries supposedly hold all together. So why all these questions about equipment instead of a helpful answer. Thanks.

It's the Ns v.1 18. I'll be putting it in my mountaineer once I get my box built but I'm thinking of putting it in my Gf car. I'm thinking about getting the v.2 once its out.

  8. Nothing else is going to be done with this build until I get my O-Scope and termlab in. So another $1400 in testing equipment. There is absolutely no reason to have a "big" system without the proper testing equipment..... I will update accordingly!

It could have been a bad alternator as well. This is why I am asking these questions. I had installed years ago a new Ford OEM alternator and it quit within a month. So it would not surprise me one bit. It happens. No problem. I just want to identify the problem. Being on a small Island doesn't help in terms of knowledge... Thanks. JR

  15. I have been meaning to get the o-scope for some time. I hate relying on other peoples equipment, I get in the mood to do something, then I cannot due to not having the equipment. So that is the motivation for getting the term-lab and o-scope. As far as the L brackets. The 10" brackets are in the upper part, they are joined by the front baffle and the port. Those brackets are rated for 150lbs each, and dont move at all.... Here is the o-scope that I am getting. Hand Held Digital Oscilloscope

  17. The X12 or the TC-9 or the Konaki hybrid? The TC-9 hybrid is mostly setup for SPL, it would be difficult to make very musical but won't quite sound like total junk. The X12 proto will sound pretty darn good in a moderate sealed box or large-ish low-tuned ported box. Probably the best sub for sale here for an SQ application. The Konaki hybrids have a great set of parameters to sound good in a smaller sealed or moderate ported box.

You know what. I have not seen an answer that is any help at all. Lots of people here wondering if this or if that with only the lamest remarks I have seen in a long time. Even the most simple laws of electronics are not known here. My God, I did not have dead batteries or any other problem. The alt just quit. thought I could find some intelligent advise here instead of these stupid observations I already know. I thank you all for all your help, wish you all a good weekend but I'm going to find a forum with some more educated people...lmao want to mail me directly with some other dumb ass or stupid remarks, please do so at [email protected]

Haha this is hilarious, we have no intelligence at all but you think your system puts out 10,400 or 28,800 watts. Thanks for the laugh of the year, that took the cake for the funniest shit I have heard all year long. Well good luck buddy and have fun, I doubt anybody is going to email you either. Im sorry that we ask questions to understand what could be the problem instead of jumping to conclusions like other people would and make assumptions. If you were smart you would contact the company that made the amp and talk to them about it since it failed so early. aww you beat me lol but: a round of applause to jay exactly!!!!!! more interested in trying to be somebody i…
