Are stepsom amps really the best amps? if not, are they really good and do they really put out the power they say for example, does the V 14K2D really put out 14000wrms @ 12 volts or not? Why do you personally think x-max is so important in a sealed enclosure application? Because in the case of sealed and IB applications the more displacement you have the more output you have.

I was wondering what problems, if any, i might run into using 2 different voice coils subs in my setup. I am wanting to use a dual 1 ohm sub (wired @ 2) and a dual 2 ohm sub (wired @ 1). Also, is there a calculator or a formula to figure the ohm results from wiring these subs different ways. trying to get between 1 and 2 ohms resistance, but want to see all of my options.
