1) New style heat-sink 2) Updated crossovers - not like these, but still very flexible 3) Upgraded power supply FETs 4) Part number change to SAX-125.2 (it really is ridiculously underrated so we adjusted the part # a bit) The 100.2 that are currently for sale have the new heat-sink design right? I have seen it advertised that they have them in stock w/ new heat-sink or is that a type-o?

i had a hornet security system installed in my car, baught and installed at circuit city... its been in almost a year now. last weekend my car sat for 2 days while i was visiting my gf. alarm was armed, no light were left on. battery was dead. i thought it was the cold so i took it to walmart, they tested it and said it could be going bad. my dad bought a new battery and all was fine. like i said i thought it was the cold weather giving it a hard time. so anyways last night i accidentally armed the alarm (not knowing if it was the draining the battery or if previous battery was just dying on its own) and my battery was dead. (armed saturday night and battery was dead Mond…

damnit...i modeled the IB15 in a 16 cu ft. sealed enclosure on BBP6 and it looked really really good...very flat, no peaks or dips and a very mellow roll off with an -3db point right around 20 hz it doesn't model much different from having 160 cu ft of airspace at all...a slightly lower f3 could i just do the IB15 in a big sealed enclosure and still benefit from the advantages of an IB install? but Robert...seriously? sounds like you will have a bangin' sub set up when you are done! i hope to see a build from you in the near future!

Both terminals are in parallel, either way is the same. "hook up both coils to only one side or do I hook each individual coil up."

Your buddy is pretty dumb, but you don't need a very big alt for what you have. An alt upgrade without a battery upgrade is kinda pointless so I would add the extra battery first. If you're still having problems, then think about an alt, but the battery makes the biggest difference on transient draw (which your audio system is).

Not just hate, but I havent seen one person that can show actual proof by testing one and then showing the results that they suck. I have read twenty threads now saying there garbage but not one person who said it actually owned one or at least proved it. Looking at the guts from the SAZ amps and the 2608d looks the same to me! grant it I dont have a SAZ amp in my hands to check the actual components to see if there high quality or the same. Ofc every person who has a SAZ is going to say there high quality components but do they have actual proof where the parts come from? The fact is most if not all parts are from oversee's just some companys hand build them here and som…

who said anything about impedence drop ! impedence rise due to box rise dude, box rise! when coil gets hotter , its resistance increases (coil is made of metal isn't it) - Pick up Loud speaker Design cookbook or go meet an electrical engineer ! Just having more no. of posts on one forum doesn't bend the rules of science . Do one thing, buy a good multimeter (or borrow it from that electrical engg. ), set it to measure the resistance, play a decent song with variable low ocatves and see what actually happens outside WinIsd - you'l be surprised what you know till now.

What's the intended application? If you're really serious about the best possible sound, be prepared to spend some money and do some serious planning.

.03mH Its not rly a dedicated midrange it is indeed a midbass driver. Without any boost or cabin gain the f3 is 70hz IB. IB this driver has more output with 1 watt of input then the extremis with 1 watt from 15hz on up even though it has a higher f3... so with a little bit of bass boost or a linkwitz transform you can make these extend as low as you want. Simply because the xmax is there though doesn't mean you have to use it, just some people like to listen to their music at rather insane levels... Not to mention you can still run it into xmax even with a 2nd order highpass at 50hz IB with its minimum projected max power. We still have to give it a stress test to fin…
