I said that statement. Reason why i stated it is simply because if that has partially damaged the amp, then you can see why the protect light may be malfunctioned. I'm not stating that's what happened but until the amp gets tested, we can make speculations until the truth is found.

.03mH Its not rly a dedicated midrange it is indeed a midbass driver. Without any boost or cabin gain the f3 is 70hz IB. IB this driver has more output with 1 watt of input then the extremis with 1 watt from 15hz on up even though it has a higher f3... so with a little bit of bass boost or a linkwitz transform you can make these extend as low as you want. Simply because the xmax is there though doesn't mean you have to use it, just some people like to listen to their music at rather insane levels... True sine wave inverters for that price? He'd need to stay far away from anything with a square wave output. I know true sine wave-capable inverters are out there, heck Radio Shack used to carry them back in the days when they had a catalog, but I don't remember them being very cheap.

Not just hate, but I havent seen one person that can show actual proof by testing one and then showing the results that they suck. I have read twenty threads now saying there garbage but not one person who said it actually owned one or at least proved it. Right now I have Pioneer TS-A6871R speakers in both front and back. I'm just looking for a sub or 2 to fill the missing bass. If you want to make the biggest SQ difference you'll start by changing those up, then worry about the sub. In the SQ realm the sub is least important part of the equation.
