but i thought when the impedance is higher, the amp has more control over the cone... resulting in more accurate reproduction?... Hahahahaha. dont laugh, ass. im trying to learn here. Easy tough guy. KU gave you your answer, I'll laugh all I want because you could have used he search function and found the answer easier. i bet you feel good laughing at people that are trying to learn a thing or two. usually the search function just leads to a ton of different threads, and id have to read through all of them, which would take longer than just starting a thread. real mature. I'll give criticism when needed. Wash the sand out of your vagina and get together with all you…

Jake I thought you rated the Night Shade V.2 at 3000 rms? This is one of the very few times I have seen anything about them being rated 2000 rms.

Former British prime minister labor co-operation George has a habit, conveniently closes the door behind him. One day, George and friends in the yard, they walk through a door, George always conveniently shut the door. "You have to take the door?" Friend is very suspicious. "Oh, of course, have the necessary." George smiled, "said the friend of my life in the closed the door behind me. You know, this is what must be done. When you close, will all the past left behind, whether good achievements, or annoying error, and then you can start again." Truth: remember to close the door behind you and conveniently to will the mistakes of the past and mistakes all forget, don't wall…

i know you cant build it right now, thats not the issue. I would just like it taken care of now instead of later, that way nobody forgets about it... would take 5 minutes to fix it.

Sorry to come across that way. It wasn't my intent. It's just that I read dozens of your posts here. Fair enough. What about the 15mm Trupan that BJ will use for the project? Please see above. I don't mean to sound rude, but have you actually read the whole thread? The size of the enclosure, given the space in the trunk and my idea of aesthetics. True. The sub will weigh ~25lbs, hopefully less. <sigh> Must be nice to be a forum "expert." The internal volume of the box will be ~/6ft^3, as I said in a post located inches above yours. How you arrived at .9ft^3 is a mystery. As BJ will use 15mm Trupan - why do I feel like I'm repeating myself - what is your estim…

If not today then more than likely Friday (tomorrow), considering those are the last two days in this week unless there is something that pushes them back.

I want active because of passengers but i want the best soundstage for passive (for myself) in my budget ! Pick one or the other, read up on both and choose which one you want. Active will take more work and you probably wont get it right the first time but if you have a lot of time on your hands and patience to get it right then active is the way to go. Passive. But i want 4 speakers in total. 2 for me and 2 for rear.

IF they are overrated they arent THAT overrated. I hear if you have the newer amps with the "80" fuses they put out pretty close...i have my Hifonics 1606D powering my Fi Q 15 to the MAXX. And i have my gain set to 3/4 to avoid clipping, but its still putting out AT LEast 1000 watts instead of 1200 at 3/4 gain

First of all, not going for spl here - its purely for show, and bass racing/daily groundpounding. M5 - definitely no need to start throwing insults out there. I've got my reasons for wanting to do a system like this - no reason to insult me - you have no idea what i do or dont understand. I had 8 x 12's in a focus 4dr - sucked on the meter but it street beat like a mofo - and i always had people crowded around my car at shows - even though there were lots of cars with fewer woofers that were louder. -shrug- Never said i was doing 12 x 15's for sure anyway - just that its an option i'm looking into.
