Damn I wish I would of checked back earlier I probly would of bought the FC box, but anyways I got a New box coming in tommorow (2.5 cu.ft. after woofer displacement tuned to 31hz). My current box is about 3 ft. after displacment tuned to 39hz.(i know it sucks) The dcons are pretty loud right now but I know i've been missing out on some powerfull low end. What kind of differecnces can I expect from my new box, I know it will hit the lows and sound alot better, but will I lose some volume because it's smaller or will it be even louder?

I just picked up a pair of MTX Thunder TA81001D amps, and according to the engineers at MTX there is no way to disable the subsonic filter or bypass the built in EQ in the pre-amp board (which is a crock). The TA92001, TE4001, and TE1501 units all have a button to bypass all of this garbage, but no such button exists on the TA81001. If you take the pre-amp board out, you can clearly see a spot on the board for the bypass switch - Labeled as "S102". MTX refuses to give me a schematic or instructions on what needs to be jumpered, removed, etc. to eliminate the EQ and Subsonic filter pieces. I'm about to tear into it myself, but figured I would ask here first. If anyone has …

What do they do that's not presently covered by the current manufacturers? Actually, I wouldn't mind seeing a small home audio (or theater, either really) company here in the future. But they need to bring something unique to the table.

1) My amps work fine un-strapped but go into protection when strapped and/or my amps are stuck in protection. - 3/8/07 I have had three customers with this complaint. All three of them replaced their RCA cables to remedy the problem. Some model Stinger and Memphis RCA cables will NOT work with the SAZ-1500D, *especially* for the jumper RCA from master to slave based on the feedback I have received. Be advised... this should be the FIRST thing you check if your strapped pair is going into protection. It will usually be the slave going into protection if this is the case... but not always. ------------------------------ 2) I want to strap my amp at the lowest possible load,…
