I swapped out JUST the amp today, couldn't resist the temptation of trying it out. All I can say is why have I not made this purchase earlier. Sundown Kicks ass. And of all things its made about an hour away from my house. I might have to make a trip to see them in person and shake their hand. If anyone has any thoughts of getting one all I can say is DO IT. The Hifonics I had in here before just does NOT compare. Sorry guys the rest of the build will have to be put off for 2 weeks, gotta wait for another pay check to fund the rest of the supplies needed. But More will come.

950 cd's, no cases or anything, just blank discs. 150 cd's = 5lbs. assuming the Fi Q weighs around 26-28lbs.

Yup. I just don't see the infatuation with wanting to modify production drivers. Some ideas may sound great in your head. I think the design engineer knows best though. . nG Yeah, you're right. I'm glad Fi doesn't offer any "options". dick. Do you also go by ibanender on splbassx? You guys would probably LOVE to get together and circle jerk. (he's ALMOST as big an ass as you.)

I agree the Massive has a cleaner look because it hides its wires behind those gold covers. I wouldn't necessarily pay extra for pretty guts if the power it the same, though. You? I removed one of my amps' bottom plates and its guts look just like those already posted except it has all red wires whereas the other one has some blue power wires. The wires say "Harmtesam Audio High Definition." The internal power wires and the output stage wires are 4 ga and 8 ga.

As I said Nicky-Poo, I agree with the first two posts being made disappeared, but the third post where I said: Just trying the HELP people HELP themselves, so they learn something . And THAT was deleted. I understand this forum is a medium for the customers and Reps/Company to communicate with eachother... BUT... no need to turn into Adire on siN. . nG I'M the one that asked the question, and I prefer Nicks attitude to yours. Please Jizm, feel free to NOT help me help myself! Nick Shawn, Scott, Jake.....and everyone else.....this DOES NOT include you...I need all the help I can get. And I truly appreciate all the time you guys put into this board. Ok, contin…

We plugged up one port hole in a box I had laying around the shop and dropped an NS 15 in there to see what would happen. Good times I think we've had too much fun this weekend. Also did a video of a 149.5 run -- my clamp did not register in the video for some reason... but when we did the 149.7 run I clamped 2500 actual watts. VIDEO :

FIRST of all the amp itself has NOTHING directly to do with the number of DB's you can get. The amount of SPL you achieve has more to do with the driver, enclosure and their installation in relationship to the acoustics of the vehicle than the power you run. To say you saw in this forum that AMP CAN HIT XXX.X DB's is worthless to say. Now, if you're looking to get louder it's possible a re-tune of the port may help, moving the enclosure (not always possible) is another way to increase spl. Put a volt meter on the amp and watch your voltage, if it's dipping very much you may need to rethink your electrical. What we need is this: 1. Tuning of your enclosure. 2. Type of…
