I could care less about your opinion. Do you offer anything to the forums, here or CA? All I see is you run your mouth to people and act like a jack ass...

small update. i just picked myself up a pair of bucket seats so now i don't have to worry about my bulky bench seat and a the lack of mouting depth that was haunting me! soo stoked... with that said since changed my mind on my sub, sorta. lol. i might actually be getting into a better series. possibly the Q and very possibly the BL. theres not a huge difference in price between them all. and the mounting deph is something i can easily accomadate now. i'm looking for an amp for 500 or less, way less is possible. i am on somewhat of a budget, enough that i'm going to need to save up for it after i buy the sub b/c i'm also saving for a trip to alaska this summer.

Will do. As far as specs. Sub is in a ported 2.5 cuFT box, alpine mrd1000 amp with stock electrical system. Amp worked fine on replacement sub. Amp gain is all the way down. Ive only had the sub for 6 months or so. did you pull the sub and check connection, and put a dmm on the coils?

I liked how the other was more stealth...but as far as being able to work on the system if anything was to go wrong this one owns the old install.....after all it is kinda hard to hide a 36 inch long amp....that MS1000 is a bitch to intergrate into the trunk. I can still get to my spare tire and the jack location.

  16. So I hear a lot of disagreements with this passive active thing? do you feel that since im not on the level you guys are on that I will be able to tell the difference? should I do more research on a active system? like i said im not really looking for a SQ competition set up you know? Im just looking for something that sounds really good to the average listener. would a pair of those hybrids fit what im looking for? like i stated earlier the idea of just a front stage is kinda new to me. and from things I have previously heard the Premier series was the best. so i realize that you guys are having some disagreements on whether to run passive or active, but is the differen…

It doesn't have on board fuses. You need an in-line 300 amp.

BTL is the best at what? If I need a sub to match my 500rms amp in a sealed box, would you suggest I get the BTL, no. So STFU. Each sub has its own duty and application. OP- IB3 is a infinte baffle sub, if you don't know what that means, that isn't for you. Plus Fi discontinued the IB3 and it will be moving to their HT line, BluePrint. Picking subs needs to be based on a few details of the install. Power, enclosure, and what your looking to get out of the setup. Sealed enclosure, X, SSD, and Q are the options. X- <400rms SSD- <1000rms Q- <1200rms. Ported, all will fit. X-<400rms SSD-<1000rms Q-<1200rms BL(3inch)-<1500rms BL(4inch)-<2000rms BTL N2-&l…
