For a box that will yield a .47 cu ft overall I got these dimensions: 12.5" W x 11.5" H x 9" D (outside measurements with 3/4 thick MDF). Anyone care to double check my #'s to make sure its good before I have my box built? edit: 12" x 13.5" x 8" looks good. Looks like I've got 2 possible boxes to work with.

BTL is the best at what? If I need a sub to match my 500rms amp in a sealed box, would you suggest I get the BTL, no. So STFU. Each sub has its own duty and application. OP- IB3 is a infinte baffle sub, if you don't know what that means, that isn't for you. Plus Fi discontinued the IB3 and it will be moving to their HT line, BluePrint. Picking subs needs to be based on a few details of the install. Power, enclosure, and what your looking to get out of the setup. Sealed enclosure, X, SSD, and Q are the options. X- <400rms SSD- <1000rms Q- <1200rms. Ported, all will fit. X-<400rms SSD-<1000rms Q-<1200rms BL(3inch)-<1500rms BL(4inch)-<2000rms BTL N2-&l…

PM send, So what do you think julian is around $650 enough for a reasonable system, including the HU? And the mtx at my first post are they any good? They are only around 60 bucks so atleast the price is good. Or what subs do you recommend, including an amp? Because i cant figure out what amp i need with a sub. (If you got two 350w rms subs (4 ohm), do you need an amp with 4 ohm 700w rms x 1ch. or 350w rms x 2ch. or doesnt it work this way?) I think im gonna go for these subwoofers: http://www.rondevries.nl/index.php?page=producten_bekijken/detail.php&product_nr=17960&hoofdgroep=8&subgroep=120 But what amp do you recommend to go with 2 of these? Is this one …

The video is a floating rig with a 53 yard clam shell bucket. (A little more than two 18 wheelers per scoop). The product was purchased by the US government and given to the Haitian government. There was roughly 15 thousand metric tons loaded onto this ship.

lol... well deep loud bass is ur goal witch is nice, what kind of car do you have? how much trunk space are we looking at? the BTL is a great drver and will bring you the deep loud bass you want. it comes in 12" 15" 18" so you need to decide with what size you want and you also need to make sure you have the electrical upgrades in ur car to handle one of these monsters. so let us know more of ur goals and trunk size and budget for amp/sub combo and we can give you alot of good ideas/answers. good luck

First budget savings would be to go to a single sub with more cone area, but impossible for us to recommend without knowing box size constraints. I am generally an amp is an amp guy, but the Kenwoods lately I have seen are not worth owning. In your budget you should also be shopping used. It will help a ton. I realize you were hoping for recommendations, but availability is not so easy and your budget is rather constrained. You are starting to go down the right path though Thanks M5. Are Cadence component speakers any good? I think I found a good deal on a new pair of Cadence ZRS65KS 6.5" for only $55. I do have an amp that is powering the front speakers in my truck, …
