Would the phase knob only need turning all the way to completely shift or will sometimes the variables in between help a system

The BTL is moving but I'm running a 100 amp fuse and it's not popping. Suggested fuse is 300 if I remember right so I figure I might be getting less than 3K. Also the BTL is dual 2ohm? and w/ meter measured 1.5ohms per coil. When hooked up in series (as I was telling my friend "we should get 3 ohms") the meter read 2 ohms.??????????? Maybe another topic but why wouldn't it be 3 ohms? Anyhow Sndwn 3000 @ 2ohms = how many watts. I know that this baby has more and I'm definately pumped on how it looks, sounds, and performs so far. They've got a bunch of subwoofer projects, and it's pretty much a required read if you're interested about these things...also, Martin J King's site at http://www.quarter-wave.com has a bunch of projects for you to look at. I hope this is for home use or a large SUV/cargo van, because T-lines and trunks don't mix for 12" subs.

Motors really dont have a power rating, as it is a function of the soft parts and coils somewhat more than the motor. But they can be made into a 1000W RMS sub without too much issue. SQ, SPL, some sort of mix of things? What coil? Thanks, Scott
