I am just not a fan of expecting such a small speaker to provide such a dynamic range. I guess it is more a personal preference, but I would never do it. Sure, tuning will be much easier, but the reality of the situation is that a 3 way will work better. As the small driver is pulling such a high workload from the lower register, reaching a fairly high excursion and realizing a rise in Qts where Bl is becoming markedly more parabolic, you are demanding the driver to perform such delicacies as the harmonics or decay from a cymbal crash... it is just not a recipe for good sound quality. I personally feel with all the work J is putting into it, he will be able to get it tune…

i got a 258 Lanzar vibe subwoofer = 12" 3500e DD i know the amp sucks and all and im considering about gettin the SAZ 1500. and i want to know if the SAZ 1500 will be able to power my DD to full? DD sepcs for the 3500e is 1200 RMS and 4800w Peak

In theory, Yes...they "thump" harder.

Im looking to get it louder im put it where it should be Im more into SQ then how loud it gets I got it in a sealed box.

I wanted to make a post and inform everyone that 1800woofers.com is currently being shut down (temporarily) while I work to improve customer service relations, etc. We recently moved into a larger location and once I tackle the shipping times, etc we will possibly reopen our forum here. audio savings (on smd) has big ass rolls of stinger 0awg for $179... & vic, if u cant fit all the port on the driver side the conventional way just center the subs (vertically in the wall) & 45 the tops & bottom of the port... =].

pretty sure MAX area would be obtained via 16" height, 19" depth, and the 44" width. i knocked off some of the max, because i dont think i could fit it into my car if it was larger.
