Why are you setting the crossover so high on the XS15". You are wasting power reproducing frequencies that you yourself said are muddy. Try 80hz -100hz and below. Thought I wanted a whiskey for the evening, so I made myself a drink. Took a drink and realized; no, I didn't want a whiskey. Now its on to a Shiner Bock to wash the taste out. Its hard for me to drink much besides beer currently, hard alcohol just doesn't taste right, and its not like I buy the plastic bottle shit either.

loud button=bad idea----------kinda like bass boost to me---yuck!!!! oh yeah----you can kill any speaker w/ distortion-----and you can kill one with too little power(since most people would crank the gains then----AKA---clipping the signal)-----think of this---- ---you are jumping on a bed(you are the speaker cone)-----you crank the gains(jump higher)-----all in all ceilings are a female dog!!!

Thanks for that info man! So it I have 2 amps a RF 200.2 and a 225.2 ( The old punches, the first makes about 400 watts and the latter about 450). Do you think it would be ok to hook them up each at a voice coil of a dual voice coil sub?

One of the grad students has a pilots license and his set runs about 350$ I believe. It is something in the mid range of sets, but it is still pretty darn nice. Get something made for pilots? LOL! I didn't think of it, but I doubt sound clarity is all that awesome. They would be durable I bet. I wonder if they come in 3.5mm audio and mic?

Looking for RE XXX 12" woofer. 07 or 08 models if possible...but older models are ok too. Pics and prices if ya got em'.

LOUD... i think im gonna order a 15" BL and throw 1200 RMS at it at 2 Ohms. Ported box with my capacitor and in the summer going to do the Big 3 upgrade just want it to be noticeably louder than my current 2 12" MTX Jackhammers that are getting 250 RMS each. In a sealed box The BL is the right choice for that, maybe a good agm battery instead of the cap. Do the big 3 as soon as you can. Im looking at runnin the cap and the big 3 ASAP and when i have more spare cash in gonna invest in a yellow top instead of the capacitor.

Do the mach 5 6.5s have any crossovers? Did you run them active?
