I'm thinking of going with a 15" Q for these, powered by a Sundown SAZ-1000D So I've been messing with the RE calculator and think I have come up with a couple of designs. I just want to make sure all the numbers are right on these and see some opinions on which one is better. I like the first one more, sub up port back, does that design output well? How do you make the horizontal and vertical 45's come together smoothly? Also, would the first box fit a 15" BL? I know the second one doesn't have the airspace for a BL which is another reason I like the first one. In case by the time I order I decide to go with a BL (I'm very indecisive)

According to the seller it does. Got the following in an email from the seller: I can tell you is that RE Audio aka Destij Engineering designed and build subwoofers for Ascendant Audio when they first started. The first generation of the Ascendand Audio Atlas and Avalanche were engineered and built at RE's location in Henderson. These were the exact same dustcaps. This custom prototype was designed for Ascendant Audio as something bigger than the Avalanche. Perhaps, the prototype version of the Havoc. Whether or not Ascendant Audio is willing to admit it or not, it is clear and evident that the engineering behind their first few generations of subwoofers were not in house…

Brilliant idea! I just hooked up my camcorder with RCA out, and it worked like a charm. I even hooked up the sub box and was able to feel the Sub moving. I was just BARELY moving though, probably because the camcorder wasn't putting out much low end (I guess) So, it doesn't appear to be the AMP as I thought. All signs are now pointing at the Sub-Thump wiring harness. I'll check there now. Thanks for the help. Update: I hooked up some computer speakers to the RCA cables out from the Sub-Thump harness. They worked flawlessly, and they're amplified. So it's doesn't appear to be the sub-thump harness. I took the same RCA cables that were working on the computer speak…

It doesn't have on board fuses. You need an in-line 300 amp.

I would say ported since you threw loud in there, what are the max dimensions you have to work with (height x width x depth). About 36w x 15d x 24h i would think, i dont want to take up all the space, what fz in how many ft^3 and what port area

It would also apply if, within the 6 months limited warranty, you blew your amp up and you were at fault for it.
