The X12 or the TC-9 or the Konaki hybrid? The TC-9 hybrid is mostly setup for SPL, it would be difficult to make very musical but won't quite sound like total junk. The X12 proto will sound pretty darn good in a moderate sealed box or large-ish low-tuned ported box. Probably the best sub for sale here for an SQ application. The Konaki hybrids have a great set of parameters to sound good in a smaller sealed or moderate ported box. Yea I was looking at the x-12, let me see how money looks if its still available next month.

Brilliant idea! I just hooked up my camcorder with RCA out, and it worked like a charm. I even hooked up the sub box and was able to feel the Sub moving. I was just BARELY moving though, probably because the camcorder wasn't putting out much low end (I guess) So, it doesn't appear to be the AMP as I thought. All signs are now pointing at the Sub-Thump wiring harness. I'll check there now. Thanks for the help. Update: I hooked up some computer speakers to the RCA cables out from the Sub-Thump harness. Well i just installed all my equipment in my 4runner. I received my speakers today and hooked everthing up...4 15 ssd w/copper coils and bp power option...and im running 2 MA HK802SX amps.......Well the system hits pretty good, but i think it should or can do more....My voltage is dropping down to 10.2 volts at worst. I am going with the four tang bands because i could use them separately, in pairs etc should i want to try something different later on. It would also be easier to sell later. any of the above will work great. I would go with 2 DCONs if you can afford it. Cone advantage is priceless i've never heard a comparison of, for example, 1 12" on 500 watts compared to 2 of the same 12" on the same 500 watts. does it really make that big of a difference? i thought it wasn't much x2 on cone advantage
