I was just wondering if anyone knew of any good car audio shops in Ohio (Columbus would be best) that have worked with Fi audio before and could do a custom wall for 2 12" BTLs and probably 2 TD20001 r/f amps. I like competing in meca's car shows (SPL) and i don't think i should do the box like originally was going to. Thanks

4. A Post on your site addressed to skin by dragonfly (this can be just a simple message such as: This post is addressed to skin by dragonfly) This just proves you are the owner of the site in question, bizarrely lots have claimed to be owners of large sites in a bid for legitimacy.. the post can of course be deleted once we have seen it smile.gif

Hey guys i got my SPL12 in today sorry i wont have pics till the morning but its going in a Jeep liberty powered by a Kicker zx2500.1 in 3cubes tuned around 38hz. I really wanted to try this sub and see if its a little more bearably for daily use then my DD9512f. As soon as iam done with the install i should have pics and a vid or too.

I was wondering if I could get the specs on the MAW12. What ft^3 do they like ? What would be a nice daily tune? Port area? Port width? PVC or slot port? I plan on putting this in the trunk of my Prizm... sealing off the trunk, folding down the rear seat and firing the sub in to the cabin. Should the port fire into the cabin also? I'm working with a height of 14" and roughly a width of 28". Also what amp would you suggest for this set up? I was looking at the Hifonics TXi 4006, but to be honest this I still dont fully understand all the varibles that go into audio. TIA

Great write up!!! I know I am still at times guilty of these things. That being said, possibly make it a part of the registration. Say an added page. Other thing you could do is just make it a sticky in the VERY top of each forum and sub forum? J

I have been debating on what to do with the Mach 5 MLi's that I bought. After debating on the decision I decided to try to design a Transmission Line from them . Heres what I came up with. Its a Transmission Line enclosure tunned to about 52Hz. Now I dont know everything about designing enclosures but I read all that I could and tried some things that I thought were a starting point. The box is not nearly finished yet. I still have to add a tweeter, crossover, experiment with stuffing, and put a finish on it. But it is done enough to give it a listen. Listening to I am fairly pleased with the way it sounds. It almost plays low enough to not need a dedicated sub woofer…

But at least the generic response could be that they were supposed to read it.

New members are supposed to read it before they join, because they click the "I agree" button. Should call it the SSA Prenup.

For implementation I would direct them to a please read before posting rule, don't force them but tell them they have to go there. Put this topic in the Newbie Sign In section and then if they don't follow we can just tell them they agreed to read this before posting and ignored the rule. It will hopefully save a lot of emotions on our part over questions.

Scott did an awesome job, so now how should be implement it? Please don't say forced page load. That would take some exotic mod's or heavy code work on Mark's part. And I am not sure how it would effect all the other add-on's we have on the website. I do like the short version idea too. If need be, I can set the restrictions to only allowing the first one or so posts/topics limited to the n00d section. That could cause one of two things; they come see that we are set up that way, get pissy, never post and leave or make a hello topic and see that SSA has more to offer then come here and make one topic about what options to get on their BTL or when will the RL-i 8 be …

as the title says. i'd like to know if there is any way we could get more space, whether if we could contribute to the forums expenses to receive more space or something. it'd be nice to store some information in PM's or stuff like that. ya know?
