  6. 1st let me say sorry for slow reply, apparently I have been clicking wrong button to read new posts and only reading new threads... i am a dumbazz sometimes... ok alot of times sigh... esp. since I used to be a mod. on a poker forum for years lol! of course it was a dif. format forum but I digress. I am def gonna have some prob. cuz my new set up plans have changed dramatically. I dont want to say exactly what my plans are cuz I dont want to jynx myself (once the ink is dry on contract I'll def. be letting ya'll know, but Dr. Watson could prob. guess ;-)) but I can say this: will likely be running a min of ~7000w rms and a likely max. of 17,000w rms off of one to 2 amps m…

  9. Nope, efficiency would remain the same aswell. Sensitivity is based on the relationships between motor force, cone area and moving mass.

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum so bear with me. I'm looking to pick up 2 10" subs but I'm deciding between two. The first choice would be 2 10" AA assassins. My other choice would be two DD 510Bs. There specs look the same but i don't know which to get. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

Stop typing like that it is SUPER annoying. You think they are garbage, and I think you are an idiot. (note, equally fair statements) For a mainstream product, the Kicker is more than fine. I wouldn't say that it is the greatest deal I have seen and think you can get it cheaper but I might be biased. And yes, that box is way too small for that driver.

We were given a project in my business management class -- make a business. I decided on doing a car audio shop. I got all the work on the business done early, so I figured I'd go above-and-beyond and build a movable car audio cabinet to show off a bit Here's the build log: I went to Lowes and got two sheets of 3/4" MDF, and had them cut it to spec. (The pictures are quite big if you click 'em... 56K'ers be warned!) The top being screwed on: The screws are in!: Counter-sunk ftw: I'll be filling those screw holes with some sort of putty so I can later paint the whole cabinet. The bottom's on!: The one problem about working with yourself and not having corner clamps…

I too see your point... But from a marketing standpoint...a better choice of words would probably bethe better way to go...you know the whole "politically correct" thing.. The company is going in the direction of an infinitely customizible sub by the end consumer...so i think the catch phrase of "infinite possbilities" would be better suited...it idolizes the direction of the company a little better than "effing insane"...and it is "politically correct" -Nick

if your max is $500 per sub then fi btl fully loaded is the first that comes to mind. its a great all around sub espetially for the price.

It won't matter if you get a recone..from us..or somebody else..and do the same thing, you are going to burn it up again. The coils are wound the exact same way every time as they are done on a machine..positive and negative is always the same. If you had it wired wrong and had the coils out of phase with each other they will fight each other and something will burn. IE No sound! I made a video anyways for when you get a recone...just a helpful hint and a fyi, it is foolish to get a "Hybrid" made from somebody else...there is a reason behind why we use what we use in our subs. I'll make a better video later with a real camera that isn't my phone..but here it is. Hope th…
