Unless the driver has a Q of around .01 and it is below a few Hz, they can't reproduce a squarewave without ringing and are never really at rest... I guess it is interpretation of what rest is beyond this point... jw 2 + 2, did you actually read the results of clipping test?

I was on my way up towards Tucson, to continue to Pheonix for a competition tomorrow. I had some shimmy in my WHOLE CAR at 60. i stopped checked, everything seemed ok. Well i hit a curb on my back PASSENGER side tire. I thought it might be that so I turned around and went back. I wasn;t even 10 miles down I-10 Well I had a blowout and hit a VW............IRONICALLY ENOUGH the car was rented from the guy getting hit by a dude running a stop sign............Anyways, I spun sideways and side impacted him. and Stopped sideways on a 2 lane road. Hello, I am a new fan of FI CAR AUDIO and I just placed an order for a single BL 12" woofer. I also added the dual2, pchamfer,and the flatwind options. I plan on using it for daily "pounding" and at this time no SPL applications (maybe later with different project car!). The amp I have is a Rockford Fosgate 1000rms amp. I will definately upgrade to (2) speakers and possibly a second RF 1000rms amp when money permits!!! My questions are these: Should I have also included the "cooling option" in the purchase of my BL 12? and can I still add it now? or is it too late? If poss. (and it is recommended) then I would like to do so. Please inform me to how. gary

Well here are some pictures of my install so far. Thanks too Chris at fisher customers for the box design. I just got the 220 amp alt put on ($192.92 from the ford dealer cause its in a 2005 ford escape and down on the back side of the motor took them 3hr $60/hr RIP OFF'S) and now have my 2 optima red tops installed. I put the box in to see how it sounds and wow its pretty loud. Can't wait till they break in a little more they are still really stiff but slam. Hopefully this week end i can build the amp rack and switch out the mtx amp with my jl 300/4. And start the trim panels.

This is what u do- Front battery--(18" away FUSE with 300A fuse)----------------------Dual 200A solenoids or single 500A solenoid(optional)-------------------------Fuse(within 18" of rear battery 1)---Rear Battery #1--Rear Battery #2. From each rear battery, run the power wire from batt to amp. Fuse this line within 18" of battery.
