Sealed my box with resin, waited 5 days before I mounted my sub and put the box in my trunk, got in the car the next day and could smell the resin. It wasn't super strong but I could definitely smell it. can the fumes damage my sub? Is the fact that I can still smell it a sign I didn't mix the resin and hardener correctly? It has been cold lately so maybe it isn't curing properly? Should I be concerned?

is it neccesary to upgrade my entire electrical system to run a 3000 watt amp in a cobalt? I have some people telling me I need to upgrade my alternator battery and every wire under the hood. i've ran more power than 3000 watts with a complete stock setup before with no problems. What do you guys think? I can understand the alt and battery upgrade that's a given...

Which way is better to charge second battery parallel with front battery or direct from alternator

So I'm trying to do the big three and I'm looking for some battery distribution blocks that will fit on my battery posts for 1/0 gauge. I think i need 4 total holes. 1 for my alt to my positive, 1 for my battery ground, 1 for my power wire, and 1 for my negative. anyone know where i can get some for less that $80 all together?

Hey guys i need some help with box calculations for my buddy! here is his box dimensions i keep getting 4.6cubic at 28hz...but that sounds pretty wrong to me can some please help us out with this. The sub box is for a kicker L7 15inch sub. this sub box will be going into a S10 right behing the front seats which is why the box looks kind a funny! and yes that is 2 L shaped ports. thanks in advanse for any and all help!!!!! I have no idea how loud my system is but I'm wondering at how many db's do your ears start to feel discomfort? It only happens when I have it going full tilt but my eardrums start to tickle and they hurt a little bit on the lower frequencies (30-35hz) I almost never feel it but anytime I have a friend riding with me they complain about their ears nonstop but I almost never feel it? I'm guessing when I get the saz-3500 and whatever sub its going to be very hard to sit in my car?

Hey guys! I’m wanting to turn one of my car subs into a home sub just for music and movies. I was wondering what’s the best way to go about this? I don’t have a box for the sub so I guess id have to get one made from someone off of craigslist. What kind of specs should it have or anything that I should have required done to the box? Such as a port & air space. I’m not sure how either sub would work with the receiver I have. So please let me know which sub you think would be best match for the receiver. Hey guys, im confused as far as what test tones to tune amps with. Im getting confused when people use tones with +-db levels and not sure i should do the same. Have a sub amp and speaker amp. Any help is appreciated.
