With that said, I want to add a backup camera onto my truck for my Pioneer AVIC-Z120BT. I'm overwhelmed with the amount of options out there. I believe CCD gives a better image than CMOS. Just not sure even where to start and what to look for, if anyone is experienced in this department. I mean, Christ. Look at it. I've been a loyal kicker fan for years. I've been sold on an 18" Fi Q but I just need a little reassurance that it can have more output than a 15" L7 with 1000 watts rms. I know the Q will have better SQ but I mostly listen to country so not a lot of hard bass to keep up with. I have enough room to port either of the two.

So we had our Iasca show Saturday, and i ended up doing a 145.8 legal on the dash(Iasca style). For most of yal thats not really loud, But im happy with it and very impressed with what it did given the money i have in it. Well where to begin? About 3 months ago my friend nick decided to get a blow through installed in his '98 tacoma reg cab. The aaudio shop he went to installed 2 memphis 12's not the mojo but the next step down. His box is each sub in a 1.2 cube firing at each other into a 3.5-4 cube space. With a port that extends out from there into the cab. Needless to say it sounds and his like @$$. Well, you guys have any ideas how to make it better both sq and spl wise, and no a match and gas isnt an option. Any ways I was thinking one 12" or 15" in 3-3.5 cubes ported. with the sub and the port facing forward to go through into the cab. How does that sound? We are starting …

I got my orion 2500d back from the stereo doc. last night and wired up one of my subs to the amp @ 4 ohms. didn't play much with the eq. and junk, just set it at about 80Hz, and gain about 3/4. My kinetik 2400 has not got here yet, so its only drawing from the yellow top under the hood at the moment, but it seems to do fine with the load boss 230A alt., at all but full volume, then I need to step on the gas a little to keep the volts up around 12. the box is a "team toxic bass/ hexi-base" horn enclosure tuned to about 45Hz. guys were bored at the shop so I stopped in to test out the single 15" 144.7 db thats on music, a random song.... not bad huh? sounds amazingly clean …

Ok, first of all, whats the most impressive system that you've seen, in terms of small. Like didnt thumper's 10"s do like 141 db? Along the likes of small subs getting loud, or really loud single sub systems... And the other thing, my friend is asking me about the "G's" of some subs... What the hell? He could be dumb enough to be talking about gravity... well, i come back to him saying "Gs?" and he says "Exactly u don't kno nothing about speakers... I recently purchased a btl 18 and a sundown 2000d which i guess puts out around 2500wrms. The problem is instead of going though a bunch of different enlosures to just ask the pros. I was personally thinking of walling off the front from the trunk. car is a 2000 coupe cavalier and theres a sound comp soon and would like some tips so any comments are appreciated. Im kinda a newbie when it comes to larger setups like this.

i have a f-150 truck and i was wondering if you could put a flip down in the headliner where the factory compass goes. I have an alpine cda-9855. i don't know how they could work together ,but if i had am external dvd player or a playstation i could probably hook it up to the monitor and run the sound throug my aux. on my alpine. is this even an possibility?? would it look good there?? whats a cheap price on a flip down?? i don't know just a thought.

ok so i just checked my tweeters out today and their blown....so i was wondering what tweeters should i get ( i just need two) and the ones that blew were diamond audio s600 hex. Also should i use bass blockers this time because i believe that they blew because they were getting to low of a frequency.

if I need to Measure the current draw from my Alt ? how is is done ?

Should the bass eq on my sundown amp be all the way down. I know my bass boost is supposed to be on 0. I have my subsonic filter on 30, enclosure tuned to 33hz.. crossover on 80.. Gain is about 80 too. To tune the amp right shouldent i turn up the volume all the way and make sure the gain is at 0 and carefully adjust, until you hear distortion turn it down a little?

hey everyone. im new here, but not totally new to car audio. now i am wondering, i want to run about 2500 watts and i only have room for about 2 12's which should i go with? im open to many options but my top three choices are re mt 12's fi btl 12's aq hdc3 12's now does anyone have any of these i could possibly buy?

If i was to put my box as close to the back seats as possible, would i be able to seal off the subwoofer/box from the rest of my trunk? I have a 2010 malibu if that helps at all. I would be having the port face the front of the car obviously, but i wanted to know if i would be able to do this and notice any difference in SPL? So far from what I've researched, based on the music I listen to (Rap, ,etal, alternative i.e....Trick Daddy, T.I., Outkast, Linkin Park, Chili Peppers, and everything in between. Lol, all kinds of chit). I want an all around set-up. Not for competing, just good loud sound quality and hard hitting bass. ok so my stock tweets are going to sh1t, they make a static noise all the time. so im thinking of just buy some aftermarket ones instead of stock, but i have no clue what to look for in tweets. like soft dome, hard the different materials like silk, titanium, etc. so if someone could give me a crash course in tweets it would e awsome. all i ahve is the HU for power and NO crossover just those gay inline bass blockers. i know ghetto but i wasn't planning on upgrading them but this static is relly gay.

ok since i heard that ED is not a good company as far aas supporting problems with their subs i have decided to go with either the SSD or Arsenal 15 when i input them into WinIsd it says the SSD has more outout but the arsenal has a higher rear air port velocity and SPL just wanted to know which one would be louder i would be putting about 650 to the arsenal and about 900-1000 to the SSD with the flatwind coil option all help is appreciated oh and i want to use about 4 cubes net

Ok im trying to decide on the wire i should get and i wanted to ask if any of you guys have tried them knu konceptz KLMX cable and like it. I also found 25 foot of monster cable 1/0 for 60 shipped i think im leaning for that unless you guys think the KLMX would work just fine.

I know the amp sits under my driver seat and is a B**** to get to but I want to rip the entire system out and start fresh. I really want bass so I have 2 12" SA-12s waiting to go in. I need: Headunit (preferably single din so i can get an eq) ~$200 4- 6.5 mids - ($100) 2-4 tweeters - ($30? no clue) 4 channel amp to power them. Any suggestions at all will help. Thanks guys. Also if your selling something let me know I like to keep the headunit red to go with the rest of my buttons/lights in the car.

hello everyone, my midrange speakers cut out once in awhile and make a snapping sound, i am running the front stage active , the tweeters sound fine. I'm using an alpine alpine cda-117 cd player and pxa-h100. has anyone ever had that problem? could it be the pxa-h100? thanks Brian

can you put a pair of AQ3500 on apair of fully loaded FIBTL 15 i know thats 7000 watts but there pricing is very good and would it get loud with them amps my goal is SPL ? thanks foe any answers
