There is a bunch on eBay for under $10. They seem very cheap looking and I am not sure where I would go about mounting them. What meters are recommended for update speed, accuracy and still maintain a sleek appearance?

does anybody know when a bass comp will be close to shreveport or some where around that area?

temporary setup consists of a pioneer 880 that ive had for years and never had a problem with, never had to do the ghetto "grounding the RCA's" thing, etc. knu konceptz RCA's that ive never had trouble with either. well i took out my mtx 2ch amp the other day to cover the back of the wall in the MINI. it was working when i took it out. i put it back in last night becuase i was driving around with no music, and i turn on the radio and theres like a loud kind of static noise and a little clicking out of both speakers. i start the engine and theres a chit TON of engine noise. sounds like my speakers are turbo'd or something lol. i mean its LOUD. im like chit, the mtx amp fin…

How to bypass a Pioneer 90b

Hey guys, I was originally thinking I was going to go with 2 FI Q 10" or Icons, but moneys tight as many of you would agree. So ive decided 1 FI BL 15" would be better, going to be running off a SAE 1200. 1 thing im wondering is if I would have enough enclosure for the sub. I ran some numbers and I can get 15h X 32w X 12d without sacrificing much of my trunk which i think turns out to be around 3.4 ft. What im wondering is if that would be enough space, or if I should get a little more like 3.5 after displacement and port. Could someone also explain to me about the significance of port area. Im guessing the larger port the louder? Or the more air moves?

this goes for the guys that do not know what I am getting.....I have picked up an amplifer sponsor.....looks like the Sundown's and the old school Phoenix Gold MS1000 are getting retired....any guesses.....I will say I don't think anyone here is running them....any guesses? I have receantly been forced out of my 97 cobra, thanks to a drunk driver. I have found a box with .42 qubic feet per side, for 2 10's. what kind of recommendations can I get. I was running 2 12's hollywood speakers off of a bazooka amp I think it was 700w. but not turned up maybe 1/2 way. I have been told that your companies speakers are worth the money. I have yet to see another hollywood, hopefully yours will last as long. So looking at the above mentioned air space, which 10's, and what amp? price ranges might help. Thanks, chris

i wanted to know if any one could set me up with some plains for a box i have 3 12inch alpine type r im gettin a aq2200d to push em i want to know wheter to seperate each sub or not use slot of pvc ports i think i want it tuned to around 35 for daily also i dont know to much about box rise so if u know anythang bout let me know i just want it loud and maybe get good #s in bass race i asked on another form id like to get some differnt idaels thanx for the help everyone

I have a 1/24th scale Chevy Express cargo. I had planned on making a miniature SPL vehicle. I could not find a speaker that would fit in the van (would have to be a 2 inch sub). After watching the styrofoam plate speaker video that was posted on SMD, got me thinking... Maybe I could make a custom lil' woofer to fit my application. Hello all, Set up: IVA-W205 with Blackbird 2 docked: Problem 1: Alpine unit sees Ipod and plays and displays info but absolutely no audio, can't hear a thing. Sirius, CD changer, DVD all work correctly. Problem 2: With Blackbird docked and using bluetooth, caller can hear me but I can't hear them. INT settings all correct per Alpine. I sent the unit into Alpine and was told there was nothing wrong and everything checked out. Am I missing something??? Thanks in advance!

I recently purchased a new car, one that I would actually be proud to put some money into and I am looking into buying some subwoofers for some extra thump when it comes to my car's audio system. I am on a tight budget knowing I am a college student. I would not mind having two subwoofers, but I know that would be extra money, so even just one sub with an amp would make me very happy. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good sub and amp. I dont need top of the line equipment, I just want a sub with some good sound that wont hurt my pocketbook too much. Thanks guys!
