Being a dealer for DD and working close with them i decided i should post this thread. Lets keep it intellectual of course but i want you feedback on over all DD products and everything. This information will be passed directly to them in an attempt to better their perception and reputation ( not that its bad of course ). Let me know what you guys think. Good and bad, give me good well written posts with positives and negatives about their products. I look forward to hopefully using your opinions/statements to help make DD a better company. I am trying to get someone from DD to come onto the forums themselves, so im also trying to show them there would be benefit in it.

I'm in some serious need of more deadener. I have decided, for the most part, on RAAMmat BXT. I'm just not sure if I should pair it with the ensolite or not. I'm sure it will help, but would it be worth the extra money (limited budget for now)? My main concern is the roof by the way. Thanks in advance for all suggestions and advice.

So a friend told me about line drivers and i was wondering should i be using one? is the advantage they offer that great? and why would i need one? like if i run a dmm over my rca and they are getting around 1volt should i be using a line driver to help out my rca so i don't have to turn my gains so high? also do i need one for all my rca's (fronts, rears, subs?). also do yo use one? if I need to Measure the current draw from my Alt ? how is is done ?

I have a 2004 dodge ram 1500 quad cab. Currently i have 2 12" kicker cvr's powered by a ssl amp. Im planning on changing to 2 12" Fi q's and maybe the bl's. With a sundown amp along wiht components and a 4 channel amp. I will be changing the alternator and the battery also. Does anyone have any info on these subs or a better recommendation for my setup?

What way do you guys use to cut the holes when you are building a subwoofer enclosure?

i'm gonna be running 2 batteries but i'm not sure what isolator to get. my setup is an orion 2500D and a pg ti500.4 with a 200 amp alt. and big 3 done in 1/0 guage wire. i have just a stock battery under the hood and plan to run a small yellowtop in the back, but i don't know what isolator to use and where to get one. i found this one here: http://www.darvex.com/miva/merchant...duct_Code=SR200 is that one any good or can i get another/or better one somewhere else?

I am running all Zed Amps in my system, Gladius to the comps and 2 miniliths to the (2) 12" subs. Recently I have had some problems with the minilith amps, but a return trip to Zed should have cured that. My question is my subs "say" they have an RMS of 675 watts and are capable of 2000 watts (Eclipse SW8200's) with the 2 minilith's I was assuming that it would be enough power to push these baby's. A brief conversation with Stephen and he recommends setting up the miniliths so that each sub is powered off of it's own minilith. Hey guys I have a little project I need help with. I recently purchased a new head unit with a monitor, replacing my old Pioneer 4000UB with iPod control. The new unit only has RCA Aux-In and does not offer iPod integration. What I am trying to accomplish is have my iPod play audio output through the sound system (two amps - one for mids/highs and one for subs) independent of the head unit, so I can play videos/movies on the head unit while still having the option to listen to a different track than what's being outputted from the movie... if that makes sense. Okay, I drive a 1981 Ford Crown Vic, and I have a huge trunk. I am wanting to upgrade my Digital Designs 2515a to something a bit louder. I have 1200 RMS @ 2 ohms I can give one of these b!tches. It will go in a big a$$ ported box, size is not an issue. I love my Digital Designs 2515A, it is sexy and pretty loud, I am just wanting something a bit better now. What kind f paint do I use on plastic interior panels?

I have a 2014 Ford F150 with sync and the 4.2 screen of which there are no options for aftermarket stuff anyways. I cant find a unit that will plug into the factory harness. Ok i read up on my kicker 750.1 , and people on the web said they are running it at 1 ohm . I also know that kicker says it ca only do 2 ohms. how safe is this? If by chance i can run this amp at 1 ohm ,which would be better . a cadence txa 750.1 d, or the kicker. also i can run the kicker at 4 ohms and it will be 375 rms, on the other hand i can run the cadence at 1 ohm . Now being new to cadence is it even worth messing with. because i have 2 of the same amps and i cn strap them together to get 1200rms at 2ohms . Or should i get some subs that come out at 2 ohms to work with the cadence. or just sell everything and start over. my subs are alpine type r's dual 4s. Help

When my subs are playing (not on full tilt) sometimes the volume just drops. The music volume stays the same, but the subwoofer volume drops. The amp should NOT be clipping. I set it up for a volume of 30 with the sub level at +6. My usual listening range is a 20-26 with the sub level at -6-0. The setup is two alpine type r 12"s in a 6th order bandpass powered by an old school Lightening Audio 1000D at one ohm. I have a 200 amp h.o alt with NO big three. I can tell you the headunit if you need it.

I can't seem to find the Rockford fosgate 3.sixty.2's anywhere except eBay. Anyone know of anywhere other than a shop which I'm sure is the most expensive or eBay to buy these processors?

, pic of box ok so im building my new box, its going to house 2 15 inch Fi SSD's. Im putting a plexiglass window on the front and need some pointers on how to flush mount it. I have some ideas but dont really know what would be the best way. I will be using 3/4 inch MDF, and the window will be 3/4 inch think 12x24. Any pointers? thanks, in advanced

With the sale on Flatline amplifiers, it's hard not to resist asking if upgrading is worth it... I currently have a Soundqubed 1200.1 powering my SSA Icon 15 d2 in a sealed 2.6 ft^3 box. Will there be any noticeable difference in loudness? Will this amp provide enough headroom in case I purchase another Icon 15 in the future? Any information would be helpful since there isn't much data on these amps. Thank you

I just put a new CM MOJO "catridge" on a motor and im getting some coil rub. I did a second one and it turned out great but i remounted the catridge a few times on the first one and it keeps rubbing on the same side inside the coil. I think its slanted not off center. I mounted some old cartridges i had on the same motor and didnt get any rub so im pretty sure its the new cartridge. Any advice on a fix?

ok yea in the other post i said ordered 2 12" mags and a sundown 1500D thinkin of money for install and the issue of batt/alt/wires came to mind will i have to upgrade battery or alt. with the install??? oh and this shop guy said with a stock head unit i need sum continuous thing that when i turn up the volume the bass doesnt turn down...???.... saying i need some $200 thing to stop that and make it sound like i have an aftermarket HU...compared it to a JL cleansweep just that is to expensive neways thanks!

I plan on running two 12" IXL's off a SAZ-2000D @ 1 ohm. Electrical will consist off: - two runs of positive 1/0 (one from alt, one from batt) - three runs of ground to chassis in 1/0 (in the trunk) - yellow top in the front - NSB 75 in the trunk - stock alt Will the subs take the power daily? Goal is to make a 39.9 bassrace machine.
