I have the opportunity to grab the hi energy set for cheap bnib. I'm looking for loud but clear vocals with a fair amount of mid bass at loud volumes. I'll be running the full power or more to the set. And be fiber glassing pods for the Mids and the tweeters. I listen to all kinds of music mainly rap and alternative rock. The vehicle is 2000 gmc Sierra. Has anyone heard a set? Do you like the way they sound?

With the increasing demand for the amazing pioneer deh-80prs and the availability dropping and price on the rise I figured I better get one while I can. Should be a nice compliment to my system. Feel like its only a matter of time before this head unit becomes nearly impossible to get your hands on.

Ok so i ordered 2 x Sundown Audio Ev2 12 Subwoofer E12v2 500W E SERIES (D2/D4: Dual 4 Ohm) on May 12 they were on back order till the 20 and it still says awaiting shipment? I messaged them and no one has gotten back to me?

Should have both of my 15" Xcons this week and I also bought two of there hand made boxes.(nice stuff) When I mount the subs in the new boxes should I drill a small pilot holes first? With out using y split...would you just keep linking the amps or is the something that you can buy and send a signal to that and the other side will send out multiple signals on the other side....I think I just answer my own question....newbie remember that

For a 12'' Zcon in 3 cubes at 32hz. How big does the box need to be gross? I can do 30 wide and 15 high, trying to figure out how deep the box needs to be.

I have a 2006 Mazda3 and a Kenwood DDX470 headunit. I also have Infinity 6829CF door speakers in my front doors, with stock speakers in the rear. Lastly, I have a Hifonics Brutus 1600.1D amplifier powering two Kicker CVX 10's at 1,200RMS @ 2Ohms. My problem is when I crank up my music, car on or off (but more so when the car is off), the radio will sometimes turn off and restart. My radio goes up to 35 on the volume wheel, with 32 being my self set distortion limit. I'm not sure it's really the song that matters, but I can crank up a song with a lot of bass to 32, and after beating away for 10 seconds or sometimes even less, the radio will just restart and then work nor…

Hey guys I am looking to upgrade my head unit in my boat. I am redoing the hole thing. I have two 15 SSA in ported boxes. (Still waiting on this stuff) For highs I have eight Hertz 6.5" at 4 ohms with two Hertz amps running them in stereo. I dont have room for and head other than a 1-Din. I have a marine Kenwood now in boat with two wired remotes. Bluetooth is a must! My Kenwood now is not and running a cable to phone sucks. I play 90% of my music from phone. I have a trailblazer and I'm trying to come up with a way to secure my box for anti-theft purposes. I'm looking for some ideas on what I should do. Right now I'm thinking of laying some 1/2" particle board that I somehow secure and then put some metal slats of some type on the bottom of the box that secure to the particle board. I'm looking for an easier way to be able to remove it and replace it if I need to haul something. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Sold my Sundown Audio SA-10's and looking at upgrading to a single 12" or 15" SSA Zcon. Not sure I can fit 4 cubes for the 15, but can probably fit in 3 cubes. What would be louder, the 12" be in 2.5 cubes or the 15" in 3 cubes? Either sub would be ran off a Sundown Audio saz2500d.

Theoretically speaking if you wanted to build a 3 way active set of matching speakers but couldn't find a 4 inch speaker that wasn't coaxial could you just cut the leads running to the tweeter and still use the cone for lower frequencies ?

Currently I have 2 Fi Q12s fully loaded built with high quality for sealed enclosures. I will be getting 07+ Silverado crew cab. What would have the most "SQL"/SPL? "SQL" comes before SPL. I have thought about 4 sundown sa-8s. Any other suggestions? Still not sure if I will be able to fit the Q12s in the truck. Spending no more than $1000 on speakers. Will be keeping my Brutus brz2400 to push out 2400 watts at 1 ohm

I just got a Sundown 3500 and two 15"xcons. When ordering I said I wanted the subs to be 2 ohm then I run both to the one amp and that would be a 1 ohm load. But ssa said no I want two 1ohm help please.. Do I have the right subs being built?? Thank u guys

just bought a fi audio 18 inch sub guy told me me btl but not sure I wanna get a recone kit for it but not sure which one it has single layer looks to be split magnet I looked at images on google I think its ufo btl series is their still recons available for it

My question is with the photos shown would it be worth the big 3 update. The wires I have now are quite large both negatives go to the engine block and there is a little one off of the passneger side that is petite that goes to the truck It is the only one I see so far that actually goes to the body the others deal with the engine.

I have a 2014 Honda accord sedan that is in dire need of a serious audio upgrade. The issue i'm having is I can't seem to figure out how to upgrade the electrical to support the 3-4.5k watts I plan on running. The Alt only puts out 110A but the shops in my local area say its a "ballsy move" to upgrade it because the engine is only a 4 cylinder 2.0. Would getting a VCM and a step down module be my next option to support the amount of watts I plan on running? any advice helps! TY
