Ant at Second Skin just got about $450 and the guys at Knu around $250. Bulk pack of Damplifier Pro and 4 sheets of Lux Liner Pro. That should be enough for a King Cab I would think. 50' of 1/0 KLMX, 40' of 4ga KLMX, 20' of Karma 10ga speaker wire, 100' of Karma 16ga and 2 pairs of Klarity 4m RCAs. All wiring hardware is getting reused from the previous system and is Stinger Xpert. Build log will begin in about a month.

Ok well I have a roll of rammat (60 sq feet) and want to do my trunk as well as the two front doors. I know I will have to use it sparingly so I wanted to get some suggestions on where in the trunk I should put it. Here are some pics of my trunk stripped down. Also should I do where the spare tire goes or should I just put it around that? Entire trunk: Lid: Right side: Left side:

I have this mojo sub and I needed to build a box for it. I have tested it and it is 4ohm dvc. I wanted to know if anyone had the specs to it like freq. response. and all that good stuff. Also I would like to know if anyone has had any experience with it and how much power I could give it.

I'm looking to get a o-scope. I do have an ancient scope it works, I think, there's just too many dials and chit than I know what to do with. And I rather know how to use it than just guess. What kinds of things should I be looking for? Size, Price, Features, etc. Are there any like idiot proof ones that are accurate and reliable? I saw the Velleman 10 MHz Handheld Oscilloscope over on Partsexpress.com Is it any good? and should I also pick up the Velleman 10:1 Probe as well, or do I really need it? Help me out here guys, I usually set the gains by ear. But not this time around, not with this much power or potential for chit to go really really wrong

Hey guys I currently have a DMX12 just laying around thought I should build a box for it. Was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this driver before or had any ideas on box dimensions for it. I know nothing about this sub I got it on a trade = to $150 and it has never been used. I have no info on what car this will go into but it will be for street beats in a ported box so any dimensions you guys want to throw at me I will probably do.

So, I've finally come to the realization that it's quite cumbersome having a large, complex stereo. My original goal was to have adequate equipment for 3-way active frontstage plus substage....but the fucking gear just doesn't fit in my trunk the way I'd prefer. I want to maintain as much trunk space as possible plus have access to my spare....and it's just not working out well. Too much equipment, not enough space. So, I'm contemplating some potential system revamps/simplifications. I currently have (of importance to this question) an Alpine 9860, H701, two JBL GTO75.4II's and a GTO1201.1II [all of which are fucking huge], and for the substage two JBL 2241H's (18"). …

I keep telling a buddy of mine to go with Fi instead of a Circuit City MTX Jack Hammer Box with 2 12" subs. Please give me some advice or videos for me to give him. Fi BL 15" vs 2 12" Jackhammer series MTX subs. I am giving him my Hifonics Bx1606d amp so he has power and he has room for both. Any advice would be great. If you have a 15" Fi BL vid please show it off. Thanks.

hey guys i have a 1997 f150 single cab with a 95A alternator. i think im going to get for my front stage Rockford Fosgate T1572C coaxial 5x7 and i am only going to use 2 and get rid of the back to stock speakers. I am going to run them off of the sundown 100.2 amp. For my sub i am going to get a FI Q and put it in a ported box and run it off of a sundown saz 1000 d amp. I am also going to do the big three, and for sound deadening i am going to use secondskin Damplifier. My questions are what do u guys think on that set up idea? anyflaws or suggestions u would liek to add? and i am wondering wat different gauge wire's i should use for everything? Hey, i stay true to my name <<<. lol, but why does a sub seem louder with a window(s) down, than when they're up? I don't know if it is on a meter, or just to the ear, but shouldn't it be that if the waves are focused into a smaller space, it'd be louder? with a window down the air goes everywhere.. just don't understand. Also, if it really is louder on a meter to have windows down, then why do the true bassheads, modified vehicles spend thousands on concreting a vehicle and making sure every crevice is sealed, when i roll down a window and it's louder. Is it just the class they're in, and the rule is windows up? Or does it actually make it louder? Just kinda wo…

Hello to all! This is my first post and I'd like to get some info (please). I've a 2007 Subaru Forester that I plan on having a system installed and have some questions concerning the install. The system will consist of Tru amps, t03-250.2 (for sub) & t03-4.150 (for front tweets & mids). HU will be Clarion DRZ-9255. The speaks will be either Hybrid Audio Referernce or Seas Reference. Anyway, here are the questions & pardon me, I know only enough about installs to start a fire. 1-Are the DRZ-9255 crossovers active & do I need outbord crossovers? 2-Is there such a thing as a sub that can/will compliment the seas or Hybrid drivers? 3-I've only 2 inches of cle…
