how long does it take to send??

i bought a fully loaded Fi BTL 18", dual 1 ohm I have a 1ohm stable amp. Hifonics Bx1605d for the moment until i buy my sundown 3000. How do i wire the sub at 1 ohm? probably a newb question, i know and im sorry but i searched a while and couldnt find anything. sorry i am just confused and dont have anyone near me who can do it or tell me with out charging. i am new-ish to the car audio thing but i know how to do most of it. Only 17. please give me some pointers or a link to somewhere to give me a hand or something to make sure i do this rite. Thanks in advance!!! Nofear.

Bought a BTL 18. area in the trunk is tight for now... I would really like my Sub and port facing up. but if that isnt possible or not good then i will settle fot the sub facing up and the port wherever it must be. i plan to use 1" think wood i guess (not sure if thats good enough or what kind to even get) so my dimensions for the box will have to be D: 25" H: 19" W: 27" i subtracted the inch of wood from this and comes to obviosly D: 24" H: 18" W: 26" I entered this into a volume calculator on some website and it told me that this was 6.5 cubic feet. My question is, is this correct? and if not what is the true cubic feet of these... im pretty good at math but i couldn…

Do you guys think that a 200a Idle and 260a Max( Ohio Gen) will be enough for 2x USAmps MD-3D and 2x USAmps MD21? and for batteries 1x Power Master D5100R in the front and 2x Power Master D3100 in the back, that's the biggest Ohio can make in the GM Large case CS-144 Alt. so what do you guys think, will it be enough? Ok so i'm at a crossroads. I have a bit of a problem. I want a system that consists of all the same stuff if i go with a company like pioneer or alpine. That or i'll mitch match a bunch of stuff. BUT i have a deck. CDA-9887. Its pretty cool. Originally i wanted a DEH-P880PRS, but couldn't get ahold of one for the right price. Now I have a friend who also runs a car stereo shop. He is currently sitting on 3 880PRS decks and needs to get rid of them. I think i can pick one up for myself for about 250. So do i Buy one and sell my 9887 and go all pioneer. I want to make a box for my 03 yukon this is what I have H21"xL46"xD28" I want to chamber both 18's with a 3" port turned to 33hz is this right for my truck. I want to put the subs up with ports up is this right or should I go with subs up and ports back? Need help from the family. Thanks for all the advise.

Well I have two tc sound ultra lms 18" and want to ship from the states NC to Kuwait. What should I do and or who should I use to ship them if I have to? Should I separate them and ship them that way or take them back with me in two separated suit cases. I like option two my self, but what do you guys think. I leave on friday so please help me out. I accidently punchered my surround today. more like a slice. does anybody know what I can buy to seal it up as a band-aid. Don't want to pay for a recone till I really mess it up. I heard that car window sealent works well, but dont know. anybody body got any suggestions?

Set bass boost to zero, and gain to minimum. Get a sine test (60 hz? (would a loud 'music' cd work?)) and adjust the gains untill audible clipping occurs, and then back down a little. I've got a Kenwood Excellon Z828 deck, two 1998 Diamond Audio Motorsport 5.25" components with the tweets backed of -4, tweets in the grill panels, running off a PPI PC4400 C amp and two JL 10W0's in a Power Wedge box up against the back seat. The passive crossovers are @ 55hz, but that's WAY too low for them. The sound good between 80-100Hz, and the subs sound best at 80 or below. I'm using the 12db/oct x-overs in the amp. In this car, what are the resonant frequencies? I listen to electronic and rock (311!!!). So, getting the bass guitar to sound clear and phat is a chore. so in two years, i am getting a car. it will be my 16th birth day present. now my plan is: (4) MJ-18's in a clamshell (4) 6.5" tang bands in the doors (1) U.S. Amps XT-2000d @ 1ohm (subs) (2) Legacy LA160's (mids and highs) and 6 pioneer tweeters. all this crap is going in the back of a 99' beetle. ported and tuned to 30Hz, will this monster blow my car up? i mean it would be fun, but i would have no mode of transportation. so please, tell me now if doing this will be a waste of money and/or put me out of a car. i mean, how bad could it be? i just like my music loud!

I looked at both company's products and was a little baffled as to why AA would want all of their subs to have a 1.85 ohm(3.7 since all of their subs are dvc) whereas FI's products are 2 ohm/vc respectfully unless FI's are the same but just secretly rounded. I used the calculator on http://www.the12volt.com but couldn't get the AA's to come out to an even ohm no matter how many woofers are added to the mix.

Which type is the best to use when soldering ring terminals and etc.

Just curious if anyone on these forums listened to metal, and what kind of setup they had... Ive kinda been drawn away from spl and more towards sq. i would almost assume that a sq setup would suit my needs more than a spl setup, considering the type of music i listen to. Dont get me wrong, i listen to a select amount of rap, but, the majority is going to be metal... So i guess im looking for some conformation on this situation.. much appreciated
