old pic i ran across. thought i'd share, i was amazed standing outside the car at the park, just beatin playin around, then the trunk flew open and wouldn't shut, to my surprise this was why ;d was a simple single 15 type-r setup with an alpine mrd-605 pushin it. setup: 2002 Kia Rio sub+port firing upwards in the trunk (gee, wonder why it broke )

I searched a couple of weeks back for a converter that would allow me to put 6.5 inch midbass drivers in the doors of a tahoe and was able to find it. Now I am ready to purchase them, and I can't find them anywhere. I found them on ebay, but after hours of searching I can not find it. The speakers in the door are built into a plastic type converter so they can fit into the hole. I just need aftermarket ones so that I can install a standard 6.5 inch speaker into the door without any modification to the door itself. Thank you.

Here is the planned system. 1995 s-10 blazer is the ride. High output alt (200-300 amp output). Yellow top optima up front. Two, for now, Kinetik khc2400 batteries in back. Four MA Audio hk802sx amplifiers. Two channel high current amps rated at 4400 watts RMS x1 @1ohm. We are guessing with full power behind them they will put out about 3500 watts each. Four FI Audio BL 15s. My question is this. Should a guy run two or four runs of 0 gauge wire to the back? Please explain why you say which one. I think two will work as the two of them can transfer around 600 amps through thier 13-14 foot lengths and that is about all that is available from the alt and battery…

can you turn up the phase from 0 to about 180db. Its just a switch, should ileave it at zero or put it to 180?

So im in the process of a new build. Ive had a Skar VVX15 and DC Lvl4 18. Def loved the DC more. ( just sold that ) but its so expensive for me to get multiples. For this new build i want to do either 15s or 18s for sake of its cheaper to get louder (meaning price of 1 18s is cheaper than 2 12s of equivalent specs) So my question is what kinda ideas you guys got! At least doing 2 subs. maybe 4 if i can afford. I have a 2001 Chevy Astro with 2 18's and I am curious as to how to place the subwoofer box. I have subs up and Port back.... so my question is how far do I have the port end before it hits the loading wall? any and all answers will be greatly appreciated.

does anybody know when a bass comp will be close to shreveport or some where around that area?

I have a whine sound i my front speakers, sorta like an alternator whine . It get a little louder with motor rpms. But here is the odd thing, it only does it when car is really hot and when i take it out of garage and its hot. If its night time or cool outside and car has been seting outside no noise. Any ideas on what it could be? oh and its only two of the four channels on the amp making noise.

I cant find a in depth faq on every componet in a sub works. Do you have any? Or can answer it all:) ty

Alright so Im gonna sound like a total fuckin newb but whatever. Kinda getting back into putting a stereo back into my truck, so i ordered some focal access 165 and a sundown sax125.2 for my front doors of my regular cab chebby p/u. My question is how do you guys like to run the wires for your front stage, in my past experiences hooking up a/b amps i have almost always ran into some kind of signal noise, ive tried running ground loops from deck to amp to battery, keeping the RCAs on the complete other side of the vehicle than the power and ground... seems like it never fixes it. so what im getting at is, what do you guys do? if anything? was i just using shitty RCA's a…

Anyone know of a program to make cut sheets for building enclosures?

I have a 4 channel amp (Alpine PDX 4.150) I have a component set with passive crossovers. I have a dual 4 ohm 8" sub. Channel 1 on the Left Front Channel 2 on the Right Front Channel 3 on one of the 2 4 ohm voice coils on the sub Channel 4 on the other 4ohm voice coil I thought the amp would bridge down to 2 ohms but it does not so can I power each of the 4ohm voice coils off one channel of the amp? Thoughts? The Hammer

I have a 2002 s10 reg cab and i started the box today. It will house a single sound splinter Rl-p 15" sub (hopefully, I think i have it figured where I can do it) if not, then a single 12" Rl-p sub. Either will be run off a JL 500/1. figured out the pix!!!

But god dang do my 2 10" dcons make ppls mouth drop for how little their rated. Paired with my aq750 Have not regretted my purchase. Amazing subs!!

My Icon 12" stopped working the other day. I don't think it's blown and the amp still powers on too. Anyways, I bought back my old setup which is the Fi BTL 15 and Cadence ZRS-9. So loud. I need to take down my headliner to sound deaden it. Too many vibrations coming through the roof. Wonder if anyone that's coming down for scrapin' the coast this year would want to help, lol.
