I have an amp and a pair of speakers and im not sure if they are good or not. What would you guys rate them from 1/10, i got them both for free so im not to concerned if they are good or not. Alternator Anyone experience with Iraggi Alts? or even possibly this particular one?

i have two SSA ICON 12's in a custom built ported box but my amp keeps going into protection after a while, i kno i can turn it down, but i like the power. i kno these subs can definitely handle it, im currently running a 1100 watt CRUNCH amp. what size amp should i be looking for and what gauge wire do i need to run to handle it i thought about buying another 1000watt and running to amps. pros/ cons greatly appreciated thanks, zack

I'm putting in a new system 300 amp alternator 4x khc 2000 and yellow top under the hood on a IA 40.1 amp. The subs still thinking about what I should run with this amp any suggestions? I would like to keep the volts at 14.4 no lower than 14.1. Can some tell me how I can do this without have any voltage drop? Do I need to set up the system for 16v to keep the volts at a steady 14.1 or higher?

well guys i made my first box not the best looking but thats not the issue it goes in the trunk im asking if i did it right "of how to tune the box" the dimensions are 38.5 L,22w, 15h. those are the measurements from the inside and there sharing space 2 subs space 15 L5 and the port is 15L,13w,5h and theres where i fail i cant figure out how tune it is. supposedly when i did all the measurements it came out to 32hz . so if someone has time to do some math can please tell how much it is i use some internet but i cant seem to find it oh i almost for got if this help but i did the box sub up and port back its going in a crown vic

well i just recently moved and had no intrawebz or cable for 3 days and well, i got damn bored. so i put some stuff together that i had laying around and well created me a hybrid perhaps? lol. i had my 04 XXX motor sitting around and well from my previous SX12 i still had the cone/coil assembly just hanging out. so i decided to put them together. the coils still threw a reading from the SX12 and everything was still in tact, the cone, spider. surround. right now it has new leads and spider is being glued to the basket. tomorrow i will take a 2.2cu sealed box i have set for a 15 and mount a new baffle over the original to accomodate the 12. i'm going to also cut 3-4, four …

Can a line out converter cause distortion in the system? The reason I ask is because I have some of the ED EHQS 12's and I hooked a 12 up to my brothers system in a 2 cube sealed box on a RF P3001, on 400 watts, and it sounded clean and got pretty loud. But just now I hooked the same sub up to my girlfriend's system also a 2 cube sealed box on Diamond 400.1, @ 2 ohm only 200 watts, and the sub is bottoming out in her setup. My brother has an aftermarket pioneer HU and my girlfriend is running off of a converter and her stock Pioneer HU, she has a Scion TC. Could the sub be bottoming out now because it is off of a stock HU and converter, does that cause a dirty signal?

I have a 4 channel amp (Alpine PDX 4.150) I have a component set with passive crossovers. I have a dual 4 ohm 8" sub. Channel 1 on the Left Front Channel 2 on the Right Front Channel 3 on one of the 2 4 ohm voice coils on the sub Channel 4 on the other 4ohm voice coil I thought the amp would bridge down to 2 ohms but it does not so can I power each of the 4ohm voice coils off one channel of the amp? Thoughts? The Hammer

can you put a pair of AQ3500 on apair of fully loaded FIBTL 15 i know thats 7000 watts but there pricing is very good and would it get loud with them amps my goal is SPL ? thanks foe any answers

So in the future, about spring time, I am going to be upgrading to 2-15" NS in my car powered by 2-SAZ2000 strapped amps. So I will be pushing about 4000rms at 2ohm and now i am looking at which batteries to purchase. Here are the 2 which i found, either 2- XS2700 or 2- kinetik hc2400. My question to you is what would you use? XS or Kinetik? the price for the 2700 and hc2400 are about the same, on ebay and ssa. i am leaning towards the XS myself. but i have LOTS of time to think about it! please feel free to make some suggestions to other batteries but please keep in mind space limitations of 13"x6.7". Dads got a ford 2009 f250 super duty that has got the disc changer with sync system. He took it to the dealer and when he got it back the cd player was f***ed like they shoved a disc in there and it got stuck. Of course they said they did not do it. So i am going to try to install a new head unit do i have to wire the sync system back in with the expensive harness or is there a way to bypass that If you got any info or ideas on this please let me know i thought around $100 is high for a wiring harness Thanks Kevin
