Do you guys think that a 200a Idle and 260a Max( Ohio Gen) will be enough for 2x USAmps MD-3D and 2x USAmps MD21? and for batteries 1x Power Master D5100R in the front and 2x Power Master D3100 in the back, that's the biggest Ohio can make in the GM Large case CS-144 Alt. so what do you guys think, will it be enough? Well I have two tc sound ultra lms 18" and want to ship from the states NC to Kuwait. What should I do and or who should I use to ship them if I have to? Should I separate them and ship them that way or take them back with me in two separated suit cases. I like option two my self, but what do you guys think. I leave on friday so please help me out. There was a topic about this (not for sure if it was on this site actually), that i planned on referring to when it came down to installing, but i can't seem to find it anywhere. SO here's what i think im supposed to do, and if anyone could add/correct/verify this, please do. Set subsonic, LPf to where i plan to have them regularly. Set bass boost to zero, and gain to minimum. Get a sine test (60 hz? (would a loud 'music' cd work?)) and adjust the gains untill audible clipping occurs, and then back down a little. I accidently punchered my surround today. more like a slice. does anybody know what I can buy to seal it up as a band-aid. Don't want to pay for a recone till I really mess it up. I heard that car window sealent works well, but dont know. anybody body got any suggestions?

so in two years, i am getting a car. it will be my 16th birth day present. now my plan is: (4) MJ-18's in a clamshell (4) 6.5" tang bands in the doors (1) U.S. Amps XT-2000d @ 1ohm (subs) (2) Legacy LA160's (mids and highs) and 6 pioneer tweeters. all this crap is going in the back of a 99' beetle. ported and tuned to 30Hz, will this monster blow my car up? i mean it would be fun, but i would have no mode of transportation. so please, tell me now if doing this will be a waste of money and/or put me out of a car. i mean, how bad could it be? i just like my music loud!

I looked at both company's products and was a little baffled as to why AA would want all of their subs to have a 1.85 ohm(3.7 since all of their subs are dvc) whereas FI's products are 2 ohm/vc respectfully unless FI's are the same but just secretly rounded. I used the calculator on http://www.the12volt.com but couldn't get the AA's to come out to an even ohm no matter how many woofers are added to the mix.

Hey Guys.....I have recently purchased a SAZ 1500D and it's powering 2 Powerbass ES 15's in a sealed box. I'm now interested in getting more sound than what I've got now that I have more power. Here's my existing box. I've talked to a guy who's been doing car audio installs for many years. This may sound kinda newbish but I was wondering if anyone could tell me the formula for getting the true surface area of a sub.

My friend has an 04 infiniti fx 35 and wanted to know if it is possible for him to keep his stock radio which Is a bose system on a stock 300 watt amp and just change the sub, is this possible or will he have to change out the amp too? Is it that easy, can he just replace both the amp and sub and keep the same radio? he is just looking for more bass to add to his system. I believe it has 11 speakers and 2 subs.

Best friend wants to upgrade his system on his 1999 Jeep Cherokee. $1000 Budget for front comps, subwoofer and box, big 3, door sound deadening, 2 channel, and mono amp. Currently has a headunit. im still learning a bit here with the audio but im curious as to how to match the ohms so im gonna use an example then ask the question. lets say i have these subs.... Two 10" 1200watt subs at 4 ohms and Two 12" 1300watt subs at 4 ohms Now does that mean i need 1 amp with 4 ohms with a splitter that goes into the subs? or would i need 2 amps both with 4 ohms each? or is there something else i can do?? and the amps need to put out enough watts to match the subs right? thanks in advance for any help.
