hey guys I just posted my fi btl 18s for sale and img ettin ready to do a new setup the goal is to do 150+ on music in my daily I will be running 4 sundown saz1500ds, i already have two of them, im just trying to decide which subs to run. i want to do either 2 btl 12s, or 4 1500 watt 12s, i just dont know which ones to run. any ideas? what will be louder do you think? also its going in an 03 s10 ext cab, i had both 18s but it wasnt worth giving up allt he space, o only hit a 147 with 2 of them in a 16 cube box...

anyone have suggestions for some badasssssssss bassssss that is not rap related(hate it...sorry) bass rules...may be stupid but currently only have old techmaster p.e.b., bass mechanik, and dynamix II...which i like. any suggestions for music along the lines like stuff like mentioned? any help appreciated!

Hello all, Set up: IVA-W205 with Blackbird 2 docked: Problem 1: Alpine unit sees Ipod and plays and displays info but absolutely no audio, can't hear a thing. Sirius, CD changer, DVD all work correctly. Problem 2: With Blackbird docked and using bluetooth, caller can hear me but I can't hear them. INT settings all correct per Alpine. I sent the unit into Alpine and was told there was nothing wrong and everything checked out. Am I missing something??? Thanks in advance!

So I am planning on putting a 1000w amp for a sub and possibly a 600w for my component speakers in my 01 civic. Can the battery handle this and if not what should I do? Thanks everybody

k, i was thinking... i have a Re Audio SX Dual 2... can i run a sundown audio 1000d to each voice coil. so it would be one 1000d going to one and then another 1000d going to the other. someone let me know

well it looks like it'll be awhile before i get a 12 for the grand am, some issues came up and i won't have money for awhile. so untill then i decided to make a box for the atlas to get the most out of it. right now its in a 2.5cf sealed box with 1 pound of pollyfill, it gets decently loud and low but i need more. heres my dilema though after i get a new sub im gonna make the atlas an HT sub so i need an enclosure that will play low well. so i was thinking either going with a 4cf "regular" ported box tuned to 30hz or have someone design me a t-line. my only worry is how will a t-line work in a trunk car and how much space would i have to give. max i would be able to fit …

I was wondering if i should do another run of wire from the alt to the bat? This is for my second alt to the batteries in the trunk. Right now i have a single T30001bd amp and a single run of 2/0 and i was looking at getting a second T30001bd amp. If i go ahead and get the second amp should i do a second run of wire?

I have been out of car audio for about 10 years and im trying to figure out what equipment is still hitting hard and whats new lol. i am currently installing a 15 bl loaded with a fosgate t100bd and would like to no where to mount my ground wires such as ground strap from motor batt and amp cause i drive a 2002 nissan sentra gxe and its a unibody where would be a good place to ground to and if it would help i have all the 1/0awg i need any help will be great thanks ooo and would the stock locations work and just go to 1/0awg wiring?

well it went from never doing to doing it alot i will turn it up so everything is shaking then the subs cut of even when my voltage is still around the 13.6v's its pissing me off i have a 160alt two red tops two AA arsenal 15's and a orion 2500d pushing them could my amp be going bad. Hey Guys, I'm In Sort Of A Dilemma.. I Just Don't Know If My Sub is blown or if my Enclosure has an air leak or something.. I made a Long TEMPORARY Enclosure for my 2 15' Orion HCCA .. no bracing no fiberglass on the inside and on certain songs it sounds like AIR is leaking or something it just sounds bad....but only on certain songs.. now my concern is are my subs blown or is it the shabby job of an enclosure that i threw together...(and when i say shabby i mean i didnt take the time to seal the inside with fiberglass or etc etc etc)

The saturn shook it self to peices after a short stint of 1 15" RESX with a 2500.1 wired at 4 ohm, had to replace it and am moving my gear over. Need some help from people who own ford explorers or SUV's in general. Alright, i just bought a 2001 ford explorer sport.... For the sub and port directions for some loud loud daily pounding which is the best place to face the subs and the port? I plan on keeping my rear seats, making a 7 cuft box ported to 34HZ for my re SX's. Also the alt is a 130amp factory unit, i have a pair of new batts for the trunk and am runnin a KX2500.1. alright. i have a pair of the old school kicker 15's there in almost perfect cond, i say almost because one of the dust covers is pushed in very little. very little, but there thick dust cover you maybe able to massage it out. there 8 ohm each. i have them in a box and wired for4 ohms at the amp. im not trying to sell them here john so hold on .......... ,my question is... how much do you think there worth o yeah i bought them new in box i had them put away in the dark cool area for years!. the saround is rubber and its not glued its stitch. reason for selling.. i had them for my lil brother... but he bought a mustang and its a no go.

I finally got around to actually designing a ported box for 1 12" Memphis PR. I played around on reaudio.com playing with numbers and made a box to my specs. The person I'm making it for listens to mostly rap and hip-hop. What should the box be tuned to? Memphis's specs 2.00 / 45 / 12.5 x 2 x 19. Any help would be greatly apprecitated

Do you think that a company should replace a blown woofer when the install used the factory recommended specs for a sealed enclosure size and the recommended power with no clipping??? Just wondering
