I plan on gettin either a Stetsom 11K2D or a Stetsom 14K2D. I was going to buy about four or five kinetik 2400's but I seen this battery. Is this ONE battery "Strong Enough" to power a Stetsom 11K2D or 14K2D all day everyday? Battery http://www.batcap.net/Products/BatCapProdu...91/Default.aspx

My setup is 4 Q15's tuned to 34hz (lowering it to 28hz soon..hopefully) on an Incriminator Audio 40.1 @ .5ohms in a Dodge Magnum.

will it be harder for cars to get into the upper 140's or 150's than suv's?

First off I know how to make a sub sound good but little about SPL. I built my son a Power Wheels vehicle to compete in MECA Kids. We have won two World Championships with it. Both on the drive-by section. It is an open dunbuggy type Power Wheels. It does not meter well inside because there is no dash. BUT because it is open we usually take drive-by. This year there are already two scores over what we did to win finals. Currently there is a 12" DD 3500 I believe it is with 1400 watts. With the success I have had with the Fi's in my car i want to switch over this year. What do ya'll need to know to start this process? later! Kirk

I am stumped on this and it may just be something simple. Alright I am running an MS8 to (2) kicker IX 500.4s. Each amp is bridged for the front stage (one amp for horns, the other for mids). For some reason only the right side gets signal. I can mess around and get both sides to play by mixing the RCAs around. I am using RCA splitters on each channel from the MS8 to go into all the RCA inputs on the amplifiers. I'm lost

Can someone please explain to me what would cause a crossover to "blow up", I had the music on 55/62 and was pretty screaming from the tweeters, and then all of a sudden a huge "pop" from the crossover, smoking, doesnt seem like it was the first time, when I first got my other side installed I noticed this fuzzy stuff all over it, but thouhgt nothing of it, same shit was over the crossover when it blew, im ssending them in for warrenty, but I want to know if its my fault at all, or the brand, CDT.

Ok guys, I've had a amp now for a few weeks pushing an 18" AA Chaos Sub. The Amp says its 4000 watts but I'm pretty sure it's only pushing about 1000 watts at 2OHMS. It's a no name amp i got from a friend brand new for free, so I figure why not. I've been slamming it hard, but all of a sudden it shut off on me. Ok guys I have a question, currently I'm working on my car I'm about to install my new Audio system which consist of 4x RE SX 12" d4 in a 6.8- 7.2 ft^3 enclosure tuned at 34hz powered by 2x US Amps MD-3D and for vocals I have 4x Sets of the RE 6.5 Comps thus a total of 8x RE 6.5 Speakers powered by 2x MD-21 and 4x subs. Now I was wondering since I'm modifying i could put 2x more sets(4x more RE 6.5 speakers) and 1x more MD-21, thus a total of 12x RE 6.5 Speakers for the 4x RE SX12", my car is more for Demo purpose and Carshow thus I want it to be loud Inside and also loud outside it's not a every day drive car, so should 12x RE 6.5 be good or to much for the RE Sx's, or …

Hello friends charles here and I need to talk to some one on the phone about my dimension of my box to be sure that I have the right measurements for my box before I start making it. H 22.5 x L 46 x D 28 now I want the two tc sound lms 18' subs that I have to be facing up with the ports in this box. My port is 4 x 21 this gives me 84. I want the box to be tuned to 35 hz. Is this right and how long should this be from the bottom of the box to work? Is it possible or do I do have to have the subs facing towards the back door. I have a 03 yukon. Had m bud Regal1975 stop over yesterday and try out the Linear X. He has 2 Kicker 10" L7's with 1100 RMS on each one. He has them in a small Nissan truck with the rear glass removed and the subs right there. 2 subs on the pass side and the port on the right. Ended up doing a 144.7 on the dash. The enclosure designers under tech are to difficult for me to build only becuase of the 45 degree angles i dont no how to cut. I already spent a little over a grand on a AQ2200d, and two bl 12's. And i dont want to spend anymore money. Can anyone on here design me a box?

I have a 2014 Honda accord sedan that is in dire need of a serious audio upgrade. The issue i'm having is I can't seem to figure out how to upgrade the electrical to support the 3-4.5k watts I plan on running. The Alt only puts out 110A but the shops in my local area say its a "ballsy move" to upgrade it because the engine is only a 4 cylinder 2.0. Would getting a VCM and a step down module be my next option to support the amount of watts I plan on running? any advice helps! TY

Well originally I had a monster cassette adapter, worked well for 5 years, but as time went on, I got unlucky and one of my coworkers sliced the cord. So it still played, but only on the left speakers, it bugs me for a week before I decide to go to best buy and pick a new one up. Dynex or Rocket Fish? Both sound like crappy brands, lets get both! I just put a new CM MOJO "catridge" on a motor and im getting some coil rub. I did a second one and it turned out great but i remounted the catridge a few times on the first one and it keeps rubbing on the same side inside the coil. I think its slanted not off center. I mounted some old cartridges i had on the same motor and didnt get any rub so im pretty sure its the new cartridge. Any advice on a fix?

Released a lil magic smoke out of my sdc2.5, was playing test tones and went to feed the dogs. Let her cool down a lil and she still pays normal so im happy. Guess this lil 600 watt sub cant take 1400 watts for more than 30 mins.

a buddy of mine is doing a wall in a dakota with four of either 12s and each sub will be seing around 2 cubes without port and tuned to 30 hz with 350 watts rms to eahc sub. he listens to rap most of the time. also he's looking to be hitting some higher scores. jw which would perform better in this application. thanks

Ok so I hooked up some LED's in my sub box. These: http://www.superbrightleds.com/specs/alm.htm (The 4 bulb ones) I hooked them up twice and they worked both times. One w/ the switch and one w/o the switch. I didn't change ANYTHING and the next day I go to hook them up after putting my sub in the box, and they don't work. Try everything, but they do not work at all. Even tried hooking them directly up to the battery (no bad connections). I think the lights are dead... I guess. My question is, did my problem come from not having the 1 amp fuse they recommend? I mean that would only blow if something bad happened, and I do not understand why the lights would die so easily…

So, I've finally come to the realization that it's quite cumbersome having a large, complex stereo. My original goal was to have adequate equipment for 3-way active frontstage plus substage....but the fucking gear just doesn't fit in my trunk the way I'd prefer. I want to maintain as much trunk space as possible plus have access to my spare....and it's just not working out well. Too much equipment, not enough space. So, I'm contemplating some potential system revamps/simplifications. I currently have (of importance to this question) an Alpine 9860, H701, two JBL GTO75.4II's and a GTO1201.1II [all of which are fucking huge], and for the substage two JBL 2241H's (18"). …
