hi, I'm using the online port calculator at RE Audio to calculate the port dimensions. However, if i want to use two subs in a shared air space, how do i calculate the port dimensions for a shared port on the two subs? or it does not matter since the port dimensions will depend on the box volume only.

Quick shirt trick, then a video showing some stuff blow around. I finished deadening my doors and had a ton of little pieces of paper in my car from the deadener so I figured Id turn it up and make a video. Yes I know its dark. Oh well. The second song sucks, It was just some song on the radio. The first video would be better but I was trying to hold the deck, control the volume, and shoot a video. So I decided Id just turn on the radio and shoot a video with whatever song was on.

Well I am slowly trying to improve the sound in my 2001 bmw 325i and I think I know the answer but I'm not completely sure. Currently I only have one amp which is powering my subs and then there is the factory amp thats connected to all the factory locations. Sealed my box with resin, waited 5 days before I mounted my sub and put the box in my trunk, got in the car the next day and could smell the resin. It wasn't super strong but I could definitely smell it. can the fumes damage my sub? Is the fact that I can still smell it a sign I didn't mix the resin and hardener correctly? It has been cold lately so maybe it isn't curing properly? Should I be concerned?

so i have decided to go with a setup that would have a set of Rainbow 3-way components up front, which i believe would eliminate my need for rear speakers. so the question at hand is, when i remove the rear speakers would i be better off leaving the speaker holes open or closing them up? the car is a 99 Altima, the rear speakers are 6.5" and the setup in the trunk is a SSA XCON 18 in a 5.4 cu ft sealed enclosure.

I have a pair of Koda 6.5's that are not going into my truck. I also have a set of Orion P6.5's comps that will not go into anything now... eh. I'm really at a point where I honestly have no idea what i want to get. I am already storin up my first years insurance money, and once i get a solid job, the money for the car itself. SPL or Daily - we all know there's a difference, what will you be using your system for? - But what EXACTLY does this adhere to? Is there anything special to put behind the subs when you drop it into the enclosure so air does not leak between the sub and the front face they are resting in?
