So i blew my morel supremo's.. 440$. Nice. Anyway what other tweeters are out there that sound great but are cheaper. I was on madisound and was looking at other morel drivers. The tweeters are so much cheaper then what i paid for these supremo's. I still want to get them but they are expensive and now i am questioning if they are worth it. Any tweeter recommendations would be appreciated. I am running a pioneer 9800 headunit off a sundown 100.4 amp. My mids are SEA excel's.

I got 2 12" L7s from a guy the other day. I took them inside to check em out and there is like pillow stuffing in the aeroport. Is that supposed to be there??

If I want to have 1 battery for my electrical system and one for my audio, how do I split the two batteries from the alternator? Split them from alternator into both batteries separately (and then into the capacitor or parrelel to the 2-3-4 car battery)? I don't want the audio system to pull from the cars electrical system.

im getting 2 skar 12's soon and i was wondering if someone can make me some box plans? i want a ported box tunes to 32hz and about 3.5 cubic feet after displacements.i will get max measurements tomorrow since its night time and its raining/snowing right now.

Hey fellas, not sure where to post this so here it is. I have a bus we drive for church on Wednesday's and we got a bunch of rowdy kids(saginaw area) so i installed a radio on the bus and we have a CB style mic but its not powered so as you all know the signal it sends isnt strong enough to amplify to make it audible. So my question is do any of you guys know an easy fix for this? Like a mic that is self powered or what not? Any help or direction would be great. 35 rowdy kids imma end up with no voice.

I have 2 15" lanzar subs hooked up to a 1400 watt lanzar amp.. how do you wire the amp down to .5 ohms so it will be max porformace 1300 watts??

how do i go about hooking up component speakers to a sundown 100.4? i have never used components just coaxial so i need a lot of input on how to do this, any help would be much appreciated.... also i need some ideas for component that are 5x7's but dont want to spend 100's of dollars limit would be around 300 +- Thanks! Hey guys, I'm really new to car stereo and need some help. I need all the wire, fuses and distro's for my install. I have a couple sundown amps, the 100.4 and the 1000d. For speakers I have a set of components and an Fi Q sub. I'm also looking to upgrade the big three and add a 2nd battery. What do I need to complete the install? I'm looking to purchase this stuff from knukoncepts. Thanks in advance for the help guys. p.s. The install is in a bmw so the stock batt is already in the trunk.

I need to find out if i will need the big 3 or not with my setup. Here is what i have 1 12" kicker L7 750watts rms 2ohm dvc and am going to be purchasing a JBL GTO 1201.1 787watts at 4ohms. My car is a 95 ram 1500 and i think the alternator is 120amps will i need the big 3? information on the amp there are 3 40amp fuses so 120 amps is the most the amp will pull i was told just put that there maybe it will help you guys. not getting my car back for another week, someone hit me and its in the shop. Now all I can do is watch my 13w7 sit, (just bought it for a deal!). I guess il just plan for some other things!

I am stumped on this and it may just be something simple. Alright I am running an MS8 to (2) kicker IX 500.4s. Each amp is bridged for the front stage (one amp for horns, the other for mids). For some reason only the right side gets signal. I can mess around and get both sides to play by mixing the RCAs around. I am using RCA splitters on each channel from the MS8 to go into all the RCA inputs on the amplifiers. I'm lost

I purchased a Dynamat Xtreme Trunk Kit from a local store. The lid of my trunk rattles like CWAZY when the bass drops low. I want to know from those who have experience, is it advisable to do the whole trunk .. lid and sidepanels? Friend advised me to put multilayers on the lid only.

I seem to have a lot more voltage drop to rear fuse to amp when the seats are up, rather than down. This is a trunk car. Is lack of air flow making the sub work harder? I have the rear 6x9 vacant..

I was thinking of putting up a wall in the 944 for that massive dmx12 stage 2 i just had some one tell me that if you make a wall in your car you can get pulled over because you cant see out the back window is this true? my other question is, is there a class in comps were u can use a single 12 and if so what is the avg DB that people hit at say 50-60hz and what is the world record with a single 12. Was thinking sub in the middle and 2 6 inch aero ports on the sides next to it. never done a wall but would like to give it a go and maybe get into some comps.

So I want to get started on the wall for the dcons, but I realized I probably won't be able to replace panels in the rear with the wall in. So there is my quandary. My right rear quarter panel is rusted all the way through, it's painted over as a temporary cover up but it's still obvious. Should I postpone the wall for months and months for me to replace all the panels that need to be replaced? Or any other ideas? I've also thought about finding another bronco with a good body and doing the modifications I want to make it my style, but this truck as a lot of sentimental value so that would be hard for me.

Hi guys. I have a DC Audio XL 12 on the way and would like suggestions on the enclosure. Its only gonna get 500 watts. I'm thinking a t-line will help me get pretty loud with the limited power. Max dimensions are 38w 32h 32d. It will be in my blazer cargo area. Thanks in advance and if you need any other info just ask.

a few, Circuit Breaker 300 AMP Reset / Self Test 12 Volt / 12V for 1 sundown 3000 at 1 ohm right? one under the hood, leading to the rear, then one in the rear before it gets to the rear cell's, then one more between cells and amp right? 300 amps or 200 thanks, these are better then normal fuses no?

Hey boys - I'm planning out a new system for my 03 F-150 Harley Davidson. The only 2 things set in stone are the JL Stealthbox - 12w3v3-4 which should take about 400watts rms. And the H/U (for now) is a Alpine 9886. I have the H/U but need to buy the JL - anybody have a good place to buy JL at less than retail? I'd like to run DLS UP6i speakers up front with a Sundown 125.2. They recommend 150watts RMS so I don't know if the Sundown will be sufficient for it. Thoughts? Do I need a seperate amp for the tweeters? For the sub I need something solid 400watts rms. Maybe the 125.2 bridged? What would be good rear fill? Only experienced info on this question please!

I love when you have somebody pull up next to you with a "wally world" system and you completely drown them out. Here in Memphis,TN there seems to be so many weak systems that it is almost fun just to cruise around. Though there are the select few that are sounding great !!!
