I bought all of Johnathan Prices' old component sets for a real good price, a few of the crossovers were….. well shitty and unusable. But I am MORE than ok with that. My question is, could I run 2 mids & 2 tweets off one crossover? I wired up a 2 mids & 2 tweets to a crossover to check the ohm load at the “input” space and it was at 3.44ohm. If not then I’ll just run the tweets off radio and mids off 100.4 till I find a cheap 50.4.

I maybe getting a 12" JL W7 which the guy is asking $350 for the sub. I will listen to it before I buy it, but is there anything in particular that JL W7's have problems with that I should be aware of? Next question, I have a Cadence ZRS-8 amp. Will this amp be ok running the W7, because I think I read that they're a 3 ohm sub? I have a 2000 Max with the bose system i change the hu, and i added 2 12's american bass :| i dont know if they good but they hit ok my problem is when ever i turn on the car i get motor wined drivin me crazy and when i turn off the car the subs make a boom soundi dunno if its my amp/wirein/radio aint help/tips is gratefull.

Been having a hard time locking in a sub stage. Was all set on the AQ HDC312 D2 to run off a MB Quart DSC2000.1D, when I decided that it was not going to be enough. They are great subs that get loud, don't get me wrong. I would recomend them in a heartbeat, but I just don't think I will get what I'm looking for out of them. My friend has an 04 infiniti fx 35 and wanted to know if it is possible for him to keep his stock radio which Is a bose system on a stock 300 watt amp and just change the sub, is this possible or will he have to change out the amp too? Is it that easy, can he just replace both the amp and sub and keep the same radio? he is just looking for more bass to add to his system. I believe it has 11 speakers and 2 subs.

Okay guys I need a little help on this. I need help on how to tune an amp the right way...I am installing a RF P400-4 that will be going to 4 6x9's and want it tunned correctly, and I have never really been showed how to tune an amp ever. Ive learned everything I know now by myself and would like it if someone could explain what exactly I need to do. I will also be installing a RF T-1500dcp on 2 12s also (yes this is the system I just sold but I wasnt the one who tuned it in my car). Any help, as always, is appreciated...thanks!

I am making this request on behalf of a customer. He is presently serving in Iraq and under normal circumstances I would ask the customer to provide the measurements of the trunk. The vehicle is a 2002 monte carlo and I am requesting/asking for is the Width, Height and Depth in order to design enclosure to what is recommended or the customers requirements. i was taking my rear deck lid out then i wanted to turn my system on and the subs didnt work...the little blue thin wire came out (the remote wire i think) and i need to know where to put it.its connected on the sub amp i just need to know where the other end goes....im pretty sure it doesnt go on my cap but i dont know alot about that.......thanks guys

why does box bracing make the box quite?

I've been looking at posts lately of people putting 8's in there doors and have noticed that pretty much everyone seems to glass the door panel and mount the speaker to the door panel. Can the door panel be made strong enough to handle 200W of 8" midbass pounding away and not really leak around its edges?
