I maybe getting a 12" JL W7 which the guy is asking $350 for the sub. I will listen to it before I buy it, but is there anything in particular that JL W7's have problems with that I should be aware of? Next question, I have a Cadence ZRS-8 amp. Will this amp be ok running the W7, because I think I read that they're a 3 ohm sub? If this were you, what would you do- If you already had all of your sound deadening and HU installed, all u need to do is buy your front stage\midbass amps for all those, then your subs and amps and all wiring and new alternator. If the money you were gonna spend regardless came up to - ~$3,200, if you knew you had the room to double output power from 2,000w to 4,500w, would you spend an extra $1,300? Added weight is approx 500 lbs out of a total of 865 so new coil overs or shocks would also need to be bough as well ~$850 on top of $1,300. Opinions? Been having a hard time locking in a sub stage. Was all set on the AQ HDC312 D2 to run off a MB Quart DSC2000.1D, when I decided that it was not going to be enough. They are great subs that get loud, don't get me wrong. I would recomend them in a heartbeat, but I just don't think I will get what I'm looking for out of them. I'll get a pic soon, but I got a battery jumper that blew the charging board in it....well I charged it with a normal battery charger and its fine. So I popped off the back and it has a nice "lead acid sealed battery" in it. Obviously this is a high amperage/capacity battery or it would not be able to jump a fly let alone a car. Its maybe 2-3" thick and 6" tall by 8" wide roughly. So, with my monstrous 700.5 amp (lol) I was thinking this would be the perfect cap for it to mount in the trunk. I have an 880prs running active to a soundmagus 90.4 (soon to be Sundown SAX-100.4) , running CDT M6 mids in the doors and peerless tweeters in the sail panel. I am currently looking to get rid of both the mids and tweeters and upgrade.The doors are fully deadned and sealed w/ cascade deadner and reflex pads. Just looking for some help as to which way i should go with the about 200 i have to spend. The tweeter I need to stay within 1" and mid I can go 7" at most. thanks for any help nate

Okay guys I need a little help on this. I need help on how to tune an amp the right way...I am installing a RF P400-4 that will be going to 4 6x9's and want it tunned correctly, and I have never really been showed how to tune an amp ever. Ive learned everything I know now by myself and would like it if someone could explain what exactly I need to do. I will also be installing a RF T-1500dcp on 2 12s also (yes this is the system I just sold but I wasnt the one who tuned it in my car). Any help, as always, is appreciated...thanks!

Yesterday I went out to buy polyfill and I bought a box that says "Premium Polyester Fiberfill." Is Fiberfill the same thing as polyfill? I picked the box up at wal-mart and it was sitting next to the bags of polyfill. When I got home I noticed that it said fiberfill. I just want to know if I have to go return it and get the right stuff, or is this the same thing with different wording?

So im getting a silverado for christmas the 00' - 06' body style. I think thats the years. Anyways its the one before the newest one. I really want a standard cab and i plan on getting 1 BL 10" ported. Can anyone with a standard cab silverado tell me how much room is behind the seats? Does anyone have a box behind there truck seats? Not just a silverado. Looking for all kinds of ideas. Thanks, Drake

I've decided my next setup would either consist of a single icon 15 or two SA12s, my goal is SQ first but i do want it to be somewhat loud. both setups would be ran off a sundown sax 1200d amp. The setup would go in a 95 BMW 740 the alternator is 140amps the stock battery is rather large. I'm trying to stay in the 1200 watt range. thanks in advance. will post more info about the setup if needed

I was wondering if i should do another run of wire from the alt to the bat? This is for my second alt to the batteries in the trunk. Right now i have a single T30001bd amp and a single run of 2/0 and i was looking at getting a second T30001bd amp. If i go ahead and get the second amp should i do a second run of wire?
