Put In Some Damplifier And Luxery Liner This Weekend From Second Skin Audio. When All The Interior/Carpet Was Ripped Out, I Got A look At The Underneath Side Of The Rear Deck. It Currently Has 2 Stock 6X9's That Go Pretty loud For The Fact That There Stock. Theres Also 2 Square Cutouts Next To The Where I Will Be Putting My ID 6.5 CTX's I Dont Really Know much About 6.5's Besides The Popular Brands Out There; Rockford, Kicer Etc Etc. What Would You Pair The Image Dynamics With? Each Set Will Have Its Own 100.2 Powering Them

A few weeks ago, I noticed my sub randomly get quiet and loud back and forth ONLY while driving. When I'm at a red light or stopped for any reason, it plays a lot quieter than it should be (literally half the volume that it is when it's loud). When I accelerate, it goes back to normal temporarily. For a few days, it did the opposite. When I braked, it got loud, and when I accelerated it got quiet. This has been driving my crazy. I checked my wire connections at my amp and they were fine. I had autozone check my battery and alternator and they were good. I even checked the voltage myself on my battery and it was fine. They are both stock by the way. 1 more thing I noticed …

Alright, so the reason why i didnt put this in the for sale section is because im just seeing how much interested it would actually get, i have a second one laying around but i dont want to part with it if im not getting the right price i guess. So either send me a PM or post on the thread and if anyone is really interested in buying this amp then we might make a deal.

Alright well to start, I'm an experienced music producer/recording engineer. I'm starting to incorporate my music into my car audio hobby. I've been making a few bass tracks to test out and demo with in my car. My question: What's a good program to use to find peak frequencies in a song? I'm going to start finding this out in my bass songs and posting them up here on the forum for people to use and test out. Also, I'd like some feedback, and maybe videos of people using them.

There are no Termlabs in town I live in Pensacola, FL but the best shop in town uses a Gold-Line SPL 162, which they said that was calibrated to be within 1db of the B&K spl meters. I do not know anything about these meters so I am asking you guys how accurate they are, this shop sells US Amps and RE Audio, Critical Mass and other high quality brands so I figured that the Gold-Line SPL meter would also be high quality since that is how they deal with high quality equipment. Now for the results: Vehicle: 2004 Dodge Durango HU: Kenwood KDC-X891 Subs: 2 AQ 15" HD3's Sub amps: 2 US Amps MD3D's, strapped(2007 models) Song played: Walk it Out SPL score: 151.7 db sealed up o…

Hello, I plan to buy some subs from here. I have a 93 camaro. Im wanting a very loud system with decent SQ. Ive been told to just get 1 10 in a custom box on another forum, but was hoping an emloyee would help me more. I was planning on getting 1 BTL 10/12/15 but dont know which would be best given the room in a camaro trunk. I will be powering it with this http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseac...product_id=4200 And my friend who has I think 2 rockford fosgate t1 15's, dont know the amp powering them. In a chevy tahoe. He swears by rocford and im wanting a system that will be just as loud, if not louder then his.(least thats what im hoping for)

Helping out a friend. He currently has an alpine 9887 headunit and wants to run active. I suggested for him to get a sundown 50.4, sea neo tweeters and the mli-65 mids. He also wants to run coaxials off his headunit for the rear. Would that cause any problems other then throwing off the sound stage?

Hello guys, just to let you know some scores with SSA subs this week end. A friend of mine did 145.2 dbs at 44 Hz IIRC, with 2 Xcon 15" on 4 saz1000 amps. It was his first time metering on a Termlab. Sensor on the windshield, on the right side. He was very pleased with that score, for a non spl setup. His box is 4 ft3 per sub, tuned to 30 Hz. Another one did 140.1 with an SSA Icon 15" in a 3.5 ft3 box tuned to 32 Hz.. The amp was a Digital Design M1 (I think so). The spl record for the week end is 150.something. But with a "pure" spl setup : wall, no mids&highs ! I don't know what subs and what amps were playing. I'll try to meter my car soon. I know a guy with a Te…

  21. Hi there guys. I'm working on deciding what I want to buy for two door 2001 Jimmy. I have a Kenwood KDC-X492 headunit installed already, along with Phoenix Gold RSD 6.5" components in the doors. My goals for the system is to have a setup that will get plenty loud while maintaining good musical balance. Now, I'm no noob to the car audio game, this truck will be getting the full treatment of sound deadening, HO alt, 2-3 batteries and more so it will handle about anything I want do with it much like I did my van. My questions are for those with experience with both the 10" SSD and 12" BTL series subwoofers from Fi. My original design for the truck was to use two 10" …

Got stuck with another moonroof when I got my new truck(2001 blazer) wondering if anyone else has had any problems with the roof after having bass for awhile, ie not opening/ closing or no longer making a seal? I had one in my old car and it wasn't the same when I got rid of it as when I got it but figured that's jsut because it was a piece of chit Saturn.
