my question is these 15" juggernauts i came across are 1500 rms. i know these are competition speakers and they can handle alot so i was wondering if anybody knows or have seen what kind of amps or power they have pushed them, and how much wattage is needed for them to sound good? they are 1.4 ohm speakers so i dont know if it would be better to go with an 1ohm or 2ohm amp or amps?

  3. Hey guys I'm saving up for the BTL 15" setup as I stated before in a different topic.. I'm running into quite a few money issues and the process is sadly being delayed for me which really sucks for now I just have 2 12" kicker CVR's doing around a weak 115 in a sealed box.. I heard MANY great things about ported boxes and want to try to build one but I'm just 17 and never done this before and I figure now is a great time to learn. I went to www.homedepot.com to try and find some 3/4th" MDF wood as someone on here told me to do but was unable to find any as far as the -online site- goes. I know building another sealed box is easy just 4 panels and 2 12" holes in one very …

I was going to listen to my system the other day, and i turned it on when it was just about to hit it kinda shut off and started making a weird noise. Kinda high pitched noise. I took the sub out and brought to another car an ran it free air so that wasn't it. Same with the amp. I replaced the auxiliary wires and it started to work on a low level. so i turned it up just a little bit. Like up 2. Hooked it back up.(keep in mind this is back in my car running free air to see if its going to work before i put it all back together) and then it sparked and stopped working again. I have a 18" fi Bl, It was hooked up to my buddies sundown saz-1500d, and my Pioneer avh5000dvd head…

  10. First off I'd like to say hello, first time posting outside Fi / Argent Audio forums... So don't mind my retarded question, for I am new... Question would have to be, is there a aftermarket mount or something I can install to keep the rear view mirror on my windshield solid and firm, and if not, at least to stop it from doing the goonie's truffle shuffle. If I cant keep it solid, maybe something to absorb most of the movement. Running SAZ1000D & 15' Fi BT, has as good knock to it... Thanks, Dustin

Hey guys i found this great deal on G31 shipped for 150 each. and i was looking for a review on these batteries? like has anyone had any previews experience with these batteries? also more importantly that price seems really low to me is that the price they go for normally? and one more thing these are BLANK deka g31's. which means they don't have a label on them the seller does say they are 100% deka's though? any thoughts or recommendations? thanks for your time Kenneth

Hey guys i had a similar post a few months back, but i have done some more research and this is what i have came up with. have a 2007 GMC Sierra Classic reg. cab what im trying to achieve is enjoyable SQ for all types of music from bass heavy rap to country to classic rock and everything else in between. I would like it to sound clear at both low and high volumes. Im trying to keep the install as stock looking as possible. Budget is around $2,300 total. I would like to keep the speakers and tweets in the doors i understand that this is not the best location and will be off axis, but i am willing to adjust time aligment and EQ untill i have it dialed in. I can also experi…

Hi there, curious about connecting a mono amp / 2x10" subwoofer setup. My subwoofer setup is pretty cheap, I know, but I just wanna make sure I do it right. The subs are Pioneer TS-W251R 10" 4 Ohm: Output Power (4 Ohm, <=1% THD) 60 Watts x 2 Output Power (4 Ohm Bridged, <=1% THD) 150 Watts x 1 Output Power (2 Ohm, <=1% THD) 75 Watts x 2 The amp is Infinity Reference 1300a: 200 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (300 watts RMS at 2 ohms) So obviously, I have two pairs of subwoofer terminals in the back of my enclosure, and I have two pairs of terminals on the amp itself. Should I just plug subwoofer 1 into speaker terminal 1 on the amp, and subwoofer 2 into terminal 2 on the…

Hi, iv'e seen something very strange for the first time. Iv'e installed by sound from old car to new. A 2000w sub on a 2500w amp. 1 x hi to low convertor and speakers still run of factory radio. Amp mounted on rear seat. When the volume is all the way up and the trunk is open every thing seems fine. But when the trunk is closed and the volume turned softer until 0, the sub keeps on pounding, very loudly. But if the 1500w amp is tested, everything is normal. Could this be because of the hi to low convertor or because the speakers are still running on factory radio?

Struggling to get my head round this. I've got 1 battery up front. Then I've got/will have 6-8hawkers in the footwells. Most likely to be 2 behind drivers seat, 2 behind passenger seat and 2 in the front footwell. I'll only be using the hawkers when showing off or at shows. I've got two sundown saz-3500s & ATM 1 phd 2200. Cable wise I've got 25-30m of 50mm2 & a 5m run of 150mm2. What is going to be the best way of wiring this up? Also how would you fuse it? That's going to be a lot of fuses if I put one inbetween each battery. Anyone used these. http://www.blueheronmarine.com/files/BlueSea_2009_Fuses.pdf

ive given up trying to fit my 18btl into my 86 monte. i would either have to fire into the trunk(eww) or lose all of my trunk. so im thinking about switching to 2 ssd 15's which will let me keep about 8 cubes of trunk space. the ssd's should be better for sq but still get down and play hard. i was going to feed the fair a clean 2000 watts at 1 ohm. should i get them loaded or just leave them stock. if i get them loaded can they take more power. What would you use to kill rattles in your dash? I'm looking at the secondskin site but they have so many different products I don't know which would be best for the dash (plastic on plastic). Also the roof of my jeep wrangler is plastic-ish Heres a pic: Would it be worth it to put some "Luxury Liner" or any other product on it? It doesn't rattle, but might make cabin quieter from road noise? Any input? Thanks
