Hey there everyone....I have a few friends who do a little free "tweak and test" thing for SPL every couple weeks. The next one is Saturday, August 20th (weather permitting of course.) It will be from 4pm-9pm at the Brunswick car show. The city holds a car show/crusin gig every Saturday at Laurel Square Shopping Center. They have their own space to do test and tune, just look for the EZ-UP tent and some loud cars around it. The address is 1733 Pearl Road, Brunswick Ohio 44212. It's about 18 miles south of Cleveland and about 20 miles north of Akron. Of course its free. so i accidently deleted the files i had concerning my box design and since i cant find the guy who did it the first time i need you guys' help. this box is for two hdc3 15's and its going in a 99 altima. dimensions are as follows: the only other things i remember about the design was he said it was going to have external aero ports. i hope there is a way to build this without having to use that method but if not oh well. and he said it would sound best subs up and ports back. i also have to md2ds that i was hoping to mount on the sides of the box. so can yall help me.....?

I just bought the Pioneer DEH-P6000UB and i love it but... wut should the low pass frequency be set up at as well at the hpf? i want a sound system that gets the best outta my mids, highs and bass

i was taking my rear deck lid out then i wanted to turn my system on and the subs didnt work...the little blue thin wire came out (the remote wire i think) and i need to know where to put it.its connected on the sub amp i just need to know where the other end goes....im pretty sure it doesnt go on my cap but i dont know alot about that.......thanks guys

What would you use to kill rattles in your dash? I'm looking at the secondskin site but they have so many different products I don't know which would be best for the dash (plastic on plastic). Also the roof of my jeep wrangler is plastic-ish Heres a pic: Would it be worth it to put some "Luxury Liner" or any other product on it? It doesn't rattle, but might make cabin quieter from road noise? Any input? Thanks

I just ordered a Fosgate T20001BD, 2 Fi Q 12's w/ Bp Power option, I have a JL 450/4 which will power a set of 6.5" Focal Utopias and a set of 6.5" Focal Polyglass. As of now I have the stock alternator (2006 RSX) which is small..not sure exactly what it is. I have a regular batt in the front which has 2 4gauge wires runnin to the back. There's a 100amp fuse on each 4 gauge. These two 4 gauges run to a Optima Yellow Top in the back the car. This is where the two amps will be. Does the wiring seem sufficient for what will be in the car? And the fuses?...I may need to get a high output alt. for the car kuz of dimming...

Im still deciding on which Subwoofer to get, so I just wanna know if anyone have SQ subwoofer along the lines of Fi Q or Si MAG v4. or in the price range of under $300. Ok guys i need major help on a box design i am getting a SSA Xcon 15 and i am going to need to fit it into a single cab truck i talked to Aaron and he said the mounting depth of the sub is 8 and 3 4ths deep and my seats move separately so i can build a custom box. what do you guys think i should do. just push the passenger seat up a bit and run a box all the way across at a different depth so my seat could stay where it is what do you guys think i need some ideas please. I am in need of an amp. I will be getting an RE XXX 15 and I want to push it with about 1500 watts. What do you guys suggest for an amp? I was considering: Hifonics Brutus 2k watt RockFord 20001bd However, I don't no much about amps and brands. Suggestions Welcome. Thanks.

Iv looked at home depot for 6" pvc tubing and i could only find 4"... i need 2 6" ports in my new box and its not very easy to find this tubing... i was hoping it would be cheap... but idkk now that it seems i can only buy 10' sections...

well my gf bought a 96 grand am and for her b-day i'm going to do a small set-up. this set-up will include an alpine cde-9881 w/ipod interface cable, alpine mrp m450 mono amp, 4guage power/ground w/60amp inline fuse, swr1242d (type r 12"), and a 1.49 cu. ft. vented box. not bad for a first system, really not bad for a small set-up. i know w/ the type r i could go w/ a bigger amp but i'm working w/ what i have left over from old set-ups in my cars. the only things i had to get was the h.u. and the box. she doesn't need much considering my system gets turned down when she gets in my lincoln lol. do you guys think this will be a decent set-up?

So im plannin on building a wall in my crown vic soon. i have a DC Power 270Xp plannin on putting 5 batts in the back 2 18" fully loaded Fi Sp4s and going to buy a crescendo 5500 along with knuconceptz Wire. will wire subs down to 1ohm together also have 4 crescendo 8" mid range speakers for the doors plannin on a few 6.5s as well super tweets planing to deaden all over using murder mat. Now onto the wall i will be sending max dimensions to BHE soon and get a wall design i am going to be aiming for about 7 if possible 8 cuft per sub tuned to 33hz also was lookin to go for 15 16 on the port vol. sorry if this is a little sloppy im on my phone ill post some pics of stuff …

I was adding some Second Skin Audio Damplifier I bought to the rear wall of my cab and was wondering if I should/can put some Damplifier over the vents?, There is a bunch of road noise coming from those vents (1 Behing Passener & 1 Behind Driver Seat).

My buddy wants to know how he can wall his ford ranger with 15s He has a 2003 Ford Ranger Ext Cab 4x4 lifted 5" and 33" Nitto Terra Grapplers. He already took out his rear seats and stuff and has a custom box tuned to 36hz with a 12" Fi Q on a SAE 1000. He's ready to upgrade.. He just wants an idea. Hes budget-minded so nothing too expensive I suggested 4 SA 15s on two SAZ 1500. Or one SAZ 3000. He hasn't upgraded his alternator but he has done the big 3 and has 2 kinetik HC 2400s with 1/0 kicker wiring on everything. His question is what's a good budget wall for his truck. Let's say budget at $5000. Thanks !

Hi there, curious about connecting a mono amp / 2x10" subwoofer setup. My subwoofer setup is pretty cheap, I know, but I just wanna make sure I do it right. The subs are Pioneer TS-W251R 10" 4 Ohm: Output Power (4 Ohm, <=1% THD) 60 Watts x 2 Output Power (4 Ohm Bridged, <=1% THD) 150 Watts x 1 Output Power (2 Ohm, <=1% THD) 75 Watts x 2 The amp is Infinity Reference 1300a: 200 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (300 watts RMS at 2 ohms) So obviously, I have two pairs of subwoofer terminals in the back of my enclosure, and I have two pairs of terminals on the amp itself. So im getting a silverado for christmas the 00' - 06' body style. I think thats the years. Anyways its the one before the newest one. I really want a standard cab and i plan on getting 1 BL 10" ported. Can anyone with a standard cab silverado tell me how much room is behind the seats?
