Do you guys think that a 200a Idle and 260a Max( Ohio Gen) will be enough for 2x USAmps MD-3D and 2x USAmps MD21? and for batteries 1x Power Master D5100R in the front and 2x Power Master D3100 in the back, that's the biggest Ohio can make in the GM Large case CS-144 Alt. so what do you guys think, will it be enough? Hey i made my box for my truck its 2.5 cu. ft per chamber and its for 2 fi q's. Im not sure exactly how to measure out how long or wide my ports need to be. Any help is greatly appreciated

Ok I just got my fi bl 18 and we have it hooked up to a hifonics bxi1606 and it is ran by a pioneer deh 5900, but anyway it worked good when i first got it 2 days ago, then it started making a weird noise and stopped working. Then after we took the whole thing apart and couldn't find the problem we put it back together and it magically started working again. Then today it stopped again. We took the whole thing apart and the amp still works and the sub isnt blown, and it isn't the auxiliary. Idk we've been messing with it for like 4 hours and the only thing i could think of is that a door speaker is messing up or the rem wire is messing up. Any help much appreciated, Mike…

I've decided for my four door tahoe z71 2004 on going with a Pioneer AVH 4400, Was going to do the app radio but it only has 2 preouts. Along with that i am going to be getting a crescendo 5800bc amp, a total of four FI Bl series Subs (either 12 or 15 inches) with the cooling option, not sure on 1ohm or two ohm impedance. Along with that i will be building my own ported box tuned to 35 or 30 hz. For the tweeters i am just going to be running two crescendo ft1 and four pwx 6.5. Haven't chosen the amp on those. I do know i will need to upgrade my electrical system on my car. I'm just posting this for some feed back on what i could enhance or if 15 inch subs would be better …

Well I got a design for the box I want and I am having a shop build it today. This is it. 17"H x 42"W x 24"D, 8.174^3ft gross vol. Slot port, 15.5" x 5" x 15.92"Long@37Hz. After all displacement, 7.048^3ft net What do I need to change the port to too get a tuning of 35hz?

Hey boys - I'm planning out a new system for my 03 F-150 Harley Davidson. The only 2 things set in stone are the JL Stealthbox - 12w3v3-4 which should take about 400watts rms. And the H/U (for now) is a Alpine 9886. I have the H/U but need to buy the JL - anybody have a good place to buy JL at less than retail? I'd like to run DLS UP6i speakers up front with a Sundown 125.2. They recommend 150watts RMS so I don't know if the Sundown will be sufficient for it. Thoughts? Do I need a seperate amp for the tweeters? For the sub I need something solid 400watts rms. Maybe the 125.2 bridged? What would be good rear fill? Only experienced info on this question please!

I have a paper to write for an Economy class (Pure Compitition, Pure Monopoly, Monpolistic Compitition and Oligopoly). Basically need an article that supply and demand and shows what happens to profit and make graphs, and the teacher said to choose a topic I like. So, it would be awesome if there's some article showing JL, SI, Kicker or whatever showing more profit because of an introduction of a new sub, or anything audio related. alright alright... i posted all my optimas for sale here localy here lastnight while i was drunk... i woke up and my email was full of people who want them.... so ill have some funds for new ones.... i have a friend here in town that has 4 optima yellow d 31a's... they are the largest... a normal yellow top like i have now is 55 amp hours.. these d31's are 75... 300 amp hours with 4 or just pick up two new dekas.... 100 amp hours each... so 200 amp hours ...... i have about 250 amp hours as it is now.

I have this mojo sub and I needed to build a box for it. I have tested it and it is 4ohm dvc. I wanted to know if anyone had the specs to it like freq. response. and all that good stuff. Also I would like to know if anyone has had any experience with it and how much power I could give it.

of course i have 2 8ohm speakers that are less then 150 watts... and i need to run them 4 ohm stereo on the amp, i remember seeing somthing befor that you run inline to propose a ohm load to the amp, so im guessing i will need, two 4 ohm dummy loads,=4 ohm at the amp, or two 6 ohm dummy loads =2 ohms at the amp i can run this amp at 4 ohm stereo or 2 ohm stereo,. i have seen a few things on parts express... but not too sure what exacty i need... so someone that has used these be for would be great! thanks

Hi I was in my friends ride yesterday and heard a problem ive never read about When he turns his radio on, there is a static noise very similar to one you might hear from white static on a tv This noise starts before the music does and continues throughout music play Besides the annoying sound in the background, the music sounds fine Dude told me he just got a new radio cause he was hooking an amp up in the back and his headunit started smoking I could not figure that 1 out either, maybe he hooked the remote from the old radio 2 the batt and ground at the same time?
