I just though I might make a post about this guy's website I found. He's an active member of a few different forums and it looks like he knows his stuff. So put down your beer and pencil and just start clicking. If it looks like the program isn't functioning it is probably becuase you are asking for a F3 that is too low for the size of the box, etc. It even tells you the dimensions to cut, how easy is this? Later, b http://www.accelerator-pedal.com/l-ported-box.htm

Probably won't happen till I'm settled into school, but since I get such good accommodation thru pioneer and kicker at work I'm thinking.... Kicker sx1250.1 kicker sx700.4 and the sxrc remote those two are for sure... now the next part is iffy... I either wanna do 4 l7 8"s(just to have something different) or I'm going to do 2 l7 12"s... then again I get really good deals on infinity's high end woofers too... as for a headunit probably a p8mp or p770mp. think i would be under powering the 8"s to much with the 1250.1?

I went to college for a year and havent really been up to date w/ whats new, good, old, and what not. Last time I was here, everyone had a huge RE boner & was bashing ED, dont know if thats still goin on. Anyway, I currently have 2 Polk GNX 10's sealed in my Explorer, and am looking for something a bit louder. My system will be complete once I get a new sub. Wondering whats good out there. I have 600 watts to work w/, and my price range is 200$ MAX, for a 12" sub. I listen to a lot of rock/rap ranging from Coldplay, Tool, or 2Pac. My subs were sealed, and although they sounded good, Im still debating between ported or sealed. Personally, I really cant tell a differenc…

Ok so I understand what an RTA is and all that jazz. I googled for an RTA program to purchase and came up with a lot of sites that sell programs. My question is, what's some good programs you guys have used/had experience with that you could recommend me. Or are they pretty much all the same with few minor tweaks here and there.

My current setup is MB Quarts, but horribly lack mid bass even amped and the treble was kind of harsh at times. With a budget of under 200, are there any components out there that have better midbass and smoother treble? Am i asking too much? How are the RE components?

Well since Ive put it up on all the other boards I thought I would share it with you guys too, as some of you know Im from CA.com, most of you I know but some I dont... Ive decided to move to better forums that arent going to crap like over there... Anyways for my first post I figured I would show you my dads SQ setup, I only got things that were out in the open, because I didnt wanna take pictures of the DynAudio 7's in the doors and the Velodyne tweets in the kicks, or the baffle job under the cover for the tens, so Without further ado, here's the cover for the subs in the rear deck: Here's the Deck and Symmetry: Here's the amps: Here's the pole vent shot of one of t…

Well, thus far I've been using Raammat and love it. No complaints about the product at all, and Rick is an awesome guy to deal with. But, I've used up all 125sqft, and now it's time to get some more deadening. I can get more Raammat BXT (62.5sqft) for $99 + shipping. But, I was also looking into Second Skin since I've never used them before, and their "B-stock" items seem to be pretty decent prices. I was looking at the 5 gallon Spectrum B-stock for $189 (plus gun for $15 more), the preorder HazMat for $145 for 100sqft, and I was also sort of eyeing the 5ga of Sludge for $239. What I'm looking for is superior vibration dampening/panel reinforcement along with the …

I changed up the design on my towers, so I don't have a place to mount / hide the crossovers. The initial design called for them to be placed inside of the cabinets ... in the upper section with the 5.25's and tweets. However, I scrapped that idea to gain more internal volume and pushed the 'back' all the way back so it's flush with the back of the bottom section (think of one solid back ... mind you, I'm sure you've seen the pictures, so no need for me to explain it). Anyway. I need to mount the crossover components on something. I'm not all for a piece of cardboard duct taped to the top or rear. I was thinking of mounting the completed piece to the top each tower, wh…

Well, this Monday I started my first ever fiberglass project. I am making doorpods for my DLS 6.3 3-way component set. I started the back half fiberglass enclosures. These will be part of the the sealed enclosure for the midbass. I utilized the factory 5.25" mounting cup, and filled it to create half of a sealed enclosure. This mount/enclosure used to bolt to the sheetmetal of the door, and the plastic doorpanel is mounted in front of it. Since this mount is being replaced with the rear fiberglass enclosure, I am guaranteed a perfect fit, dont have to cut any sheetmetal, eliminate depth concerns, and will seriously increase the imaging, depth, etc.. I removed the OEM spe…
