Hey guys, just bought a 2007 altima sedan, fully loaded. It has the bose system with the navigation in it. The speakers sound good, but its a little lacking on the low notes. Questions.... 1. Is it possible to wire in a sub to the stock system? 2. Does anyone here make a box similar to http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_stealthbox_detail.php?fit_id=1620 ( they dont sell just the enclosure ) 3. Looking at a 10" icon, fi q, or lethal injection. 4. Main goal is a clean looking trunk without taking out the spare. Been looking for a while, but havnt been able to find anybody doing boxes like this. Any opinions/help is greatly appreciated.

Bought a BTL 18. area in the trunk is tight for now... I would really like my Sub and port facing up. but if that isnt possible or not good then i will settle fot the sub facing up and the port wherever it must be. i plan to use 1" think wood i guess (not sure if thats good enough or what kind to even get) so my dimensions for the box will have to be D: 25" H: 19" W: 27" i subtracted the inch of wood from this and comes to obviosly D: 24" H: 18" W: 26" I entered this into a volume calculator on some website and it told me that this was 6.5 cubic feet. My question is, is this correct? and if not what is the true cubic feet of these... im pretty good at math but i couldn…

I am still running factory 6x8 speakers in my car and I am looking to upgrade them but would like some suggestions on brand. My sub stage will be someday be two 12" 1-1.5k watt subwoofers and I dont want to go cheap on the speakers. Definitely want component speakers in the front and either identical components in the back or 2 way speakers. I would like something that gets loud and clear and would to keep the total price of the speakers and 4 channel amp to run them under $800. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I wasn't sure if I should put this in Music or General Audio. I think it fits in both so I just stuck it here but please correct me if I am wrong. This is probably a stupid question but... Where can I get a CD or DL anything containing 10Hz-60Hz tones? I am trying get more into SPL and I wanna start testing different ports. The reason I want so low is because I have a 20Hz port for fun . I tried Bass Mekanik but it doesn't go as low and the tones kind of fade in and out (it's weird) and I can't find anything on iTunes. so i got my speakers into day, now some people say to mount along with the driver.. and some say to mount high on the A pilelr, well my cross overs, have two spots for tweeters,... one for main tweets and another for image tweeters, lets talk

I have a friend that I am helping and recently built a killer ported box for. He has a 98 F150 regular cab. The box is 2.3cuft and tuned to 33hz with the sub forward port to drivers side. He has a Memphis PR 12 d4 that is decent I guess but his biggest problem is the Sony Xplode 1000 watt amp. "POS" running it. I have it wired to 2 ohms and it dont like it, gets hot after only one or two songs, etc. Wired at 8 ohms it just doesnt power the sub enough. Last night I installed a set of Massive Audio VK6 6.5 components that was a huge improvement over the stock speakers lol. They are running off the head unit and sound fine. Basically need an article that supply and demand and shows what happens to profit and make graphs, and the teacher said to choose a topic I like. does anyone know where i can find a positive ring terminal that can fit all those extra o ring terminals going into my positve side my nissan comes with? i dont want to cut them i just want to know if there is a terminal out there that can match it.. ive been looking around at scorpion stinger but havent had any luck yet.. anyone know of anything that matches this?? one of the conections seems to be power and the other has fuses on it.. here is a pic

Hi Guys, Having some issues and need some help. I recently found a Audison bit one at $178 and the price was really attractive. The down side is it does not come with the DRC, CD and the USB cable.My worry is with out the DRC would it be convenient unless i don't change settings?CD - i manage to download the software online but will it be able to use?USB - is this the normal USB which we can find in stores?Would appreciate your help to leave some comment and to clear my doubt.Thank you in advance.

I've been going back and forth on what to do with these midrange speakers I bought. I had planned to build a 3 way component set. I have a memphis m class 6.5 with focal 1" tweeter and a focal cross over I was going to use up front. But I'm thinking of mounting the closed back mid range on the door with a mounting ring. Running the comp set in factory locations with crossover off the front channel and midrange off the rear channel with a rca split from the front. It's fq response is 300hz-8khz I beleive without going out to look. The head unit I bought says its only 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gen compatible, does this my 4th gen wont work or its just the manufacturer has not added he 4th gen to there list? I dont see why it wouldnt work, its the pioneer 4300 dvd navigation unit, please let me know what you think and if I have to return it and get a 3rd gen version, thank you

I am trying to get me an enclosure for two 12" Icons, However I would like to put a few small changes to the box to make it look a little better than the "average box", but I need a little help. How do you Flare your port? If I put a plexiglass window on top, would that affect the sound at all, and how do you put a plexiglass window on a box without breaking the plexiglass? What type of paint is the best to use on MDF, for the flared port? Would it be better to have the rectangular port, round port, or will it not really make a difference? Hi, I drive a 2007 Ford Fusion and I am having some trouble finding a better alternator, could anyone give me a few places I could look that might have one for me? pretty amp for sure, anywho just saw this guy on a private auction site for under $50 tested working, cosmetically it's almost 100%. I wouldn't use this amp myself, but would It be worth to resell and make a quick buck? only results I really saw for this amp for sale privately was a post on diy selling it for roughly $300, and everyone said post it on european ebay and you could get way more for it... is this amp really that damn nice? i know older diamond audio is nice, but over $300 for a used 4 channel 400watt amp?

I wasn't going to but the stock speakers have horrible cone breakup and it's driving me absolutley nuts. So I might aswell. The system has to be simple and mostly from items I already have. Space is a consideration since the vans main purpose is work (lots of tools supplies etc in the back). The Vehicle is a 1997 AWD Astro Cargo Van. 2 seats and the rest is wide open (1 parts shelf a foot or so back from the drivers seat all the way to the back doors). I'll use an RFX-8240 for source.
