Where is the best place to buy Knukonceptz 1/0 gauge wire for the cheapest price? And I also need suggestions on the best place to run my wire in my 2011 mazda 3. Right now I have Knukonceptz 1/0 gauge and the only place I could wire it was under my center console then I came out the side (driver side) and under my seat, and I don't know how to get it into the trunk of my car with it being un noticed, how can I hide it going through the back seat area into the trunk?

Has anyone done this before? I was wondering if I would run into any depth issues or any issue in creating a baffle to fit the factory location which is 6x8s.

Jim Thiel of THIEL Audio was one of the pioneers of American hi-fi, and one of its biggest names, ranking up there with Henry Kloss and Paul Klipsch. Jim co-founded THIEL in Lexington, KY in 1976, and was instrumental in the development of time and phase accurate designs with the use of sloped baffles, coaxial driver mounting, and phase coherent crossover networks. I have 1 crescendo 5500 @ 1 ohm on 2 18 sp4s box is 6.5 cub per 18 with 170 inch of square port! 18s are fully loaded. Pioneer deh80prs,4 rockford fosgate 5 1/4 and us 600 pushing them. 320 mech. Alt. 1 xs 3100 up front and 2 3400 in back of honda odyssey van. All 0 gauge cable. Never has it metered, but want more for comp. My question is this what about 1 more 18 with a wall and have amp wired to 1/2 ohm ( for comp) with some dynamat, or two more 18s? Either way will be just the one 5500 cresendo running subs. And how much diffrence do you think would be either way?

I have the MB PVF 213's in kick panels, and want to install these in my door. It says to run wires through the 213's first then out to the 164's. Each has it's own cross over so why would you do this? I'm running them off a RF T600-4 4 channel amp. I thought you would just run the 213's off front channel , then run rear channel to the 164's and you would be good. Then set my cross over's on my RF 3sixty.2 to HP on front , get it were I want it at, then set the BP on rear where I want it at and it would be good to go. What am I missing? What would be good settings for the cross over points to start with? Thanks

A friend of mine who is new to car audio unplugged his hifonics amp and didnt know to remove the connection to the battery when plugging it back up. He hooked the ground up first then he hooked up the power, it started arc welding inside and he removed it. I got over there and removed the fuse, hooked the wires up then when i put the fuse in, the fuse blew immediately. So i assumed he blew the power supply since the stereo wasn't on. He uses one of those devices to convert speaker outputs from stock headunit into rcas. So i put my amp in there and everything was fine. When i took my amp out, we decided to hook the amp up again.. if the fuse blew again... then we knew is w…

I got these a few days ago to replace a set of Infinity Reference components and they sound pretty dang good. Big Big Big improvement. The only problem I have is the output is way down compared to the 2 ohm rated Infinity, which ain't a bad thing because they were very harsh to my ears, but the Bostons are having a hard time keeping up with my sub bass with only 60 watts on them. I am sure they would love some more power and probably wake up and really shine. Details........ The Bostons are rated @ 3ohm and 125w rms and I have a Rockford Forgate 450.4 amp that puts out 60w RMS x 4 @ 2 ohm, 100w x 4 @ 2ohm, and 225w x 2 bridged @ 4ohm. I had thought about just bridging the…

I have called all the local car audio shops trying to find someone with a TL. I just don't want to spend $650 on a meter, when I could buy another sundown audio 3000D for that. I'm just asking if anyone knows of a place that has a TL anywhere in the montgomery or birmingham alabama area. Thanks. Are there other types of meters that are close to that of the tl, but aren't as expensive?
