Well, last summer, me and my friends saw somebody w/ an ice chest speaker box. They had a Pioneer HU, some Kicker 8's, some Pioneer 6x9s, and a small amp and a battery. It sounded really good. We had the idea to do something bigger and better however. On our quest for the perfect ice chest to use (hey its gotta be big enough to hold beer), we came across a rubbermaid bench. We thought it would be perfect for the project and so we bought it. I took my old pioneer hu (deh-p330) and my friend donated some 5.25s, and I bought some pioneer 6x9s off of a friend. anything priceless? or custom made one off kicker equipment? maybe a gold plated XPL? just wondering cause if I were you over the years I would probably have a garage full of kicker equipment oh and what are you running right now, also out of curosity

what were some of your Kicker installs??? ZR1000 (x2) Round Solo Baric 15 (x2) probably my most loved install I would love to try one of the brand new L7 in a 10" and push it with a SX1250.1 in a sweet SQ box

If I bought a Kicker amp on ebay, brand new, never used, and with the serial number.. is my warranty only through the seller, or would I be able to get the amp repaired by kicker, if in fact it malfunctioned? -Marcus

Hey guys... i just went out and bought a new Jig Saw. Mine decided to blow up earlier today while i was working on my new box.... pissed me off cause i would have had it done by now but no it had to die. It was already pretty f'ed up but oh well here is some pics of my new Black and Decker jig saw.

Would like to appoligize, I am new to the forum and did not know my add would cause harm, just wanted to help! I did not purposely spam your forum.

Now, I realized that an electrical outlet is a wicked idea as a speaker connect. It's made with heavy gauge copper, it accepts heavy guage wire, to be screwed down and it makes for a very easy connect, disconnect. I know that almost nobody would understand the concept of this, which is normal. I would like to hear reasons, people would not use this method of connecting speaker wire. I'm looking for facts, to show why an electrical outlet, is not as good as a regular speaker plate.

Low-end authority. Once you hear the true low end of audio tracks, video games and movies, it's not easy to go back to standard front speakers. Removed.

yeah well since bimmers alternators are expensive i decided to see if caps would do anything for me. Theyr gona be strapped to a JBL 1200.1 for a total of 2 farads. i didnt want to waste money on caps so i bought used ones that i got for 25 bucks shipped for non digital and 35 shipped for digital. I just came up with the rack idea when i was about to put em in, i grabeed a peice of leftover MDF wood from the box i made and put some leftover carpet on it and screwed it to the side of the trunk over my optima red top battery with a couple L brackets. I've been working with bass box pro 6 for probably the past 3 hours or so.... and i just cannot figure it out. I guess its just going to be said that i wont ever be able to know how to properly configure a box lol. For some reason i just cannot grasp the concept/doings of the box programs. So what i need from someone knowledge in the area of box making is, for someone to design a box for me. I havent taken the measurements as of yet, but when I do, i just want to know if someone will be able to help me lol. Here are my plans for the box. 2 15" RE XXX's. Ported. In building my new HT mains, I wanted another major change, so I said to hell with it... I wanted a new reciever, so guess what? I pissed away a small fortune!!! Oooo, sexy!!! With a Rava, this is a huge unit. It is a Pioneer Elite VXS-45TX. Lemme tell you, this is a bad a$$ SOB. It weighs more than a Brahma, and I think it even sounds better . I purchased a Dynamat Xtreme Trunk Kit from a local store. The lid of my trunk rattles like CWAZY when the bass drops low. I want to know from those who have experience, is it advisable to do the whole trunk .. lid and sidepanels? Friend advised me to put multilayers on the lid only.
