Ok, I'm going to attempt to build a box. I was just wondering about the bracing. Basically I have two 3/4" panels I can use for bracing. Should I glue both together, to have one solid 1.5" brace. I was thinking I would mount the sub off-center, so I could put the brace more toward the center (if I do it this way). Or, should I keep the sub in the center and use a panel on both sides? I'm sitting in front of the computer brainstorming different setups..trying to find the right sub is just like buying a new car for the first time *Two Zv4 18's with spl cone and nsv2 coil powered by two AA 3800's *Two sp4 18's fully upgraded powered by two sundown scv 4000's The subs and amps I still have floating around is the B2 audio M1s, nightshade v3. and Scv 6000, CT 4000.1

I have a 12" FI BTL with the UfO motor that needs to be reconed. Who makes the best recone kit for it, I currently only know of FI and PSI recone kits but I'm not sure what one is better. Who makes the best recone kit for it? If another company makes one that would allow me to have 3000w rms that would be perfect. Please let me know what my options are and what you recommend.

2002 NBS Chevy Silverado Budget Active SQ System installation: Since I just bought a newer truck, I thought I would share some of the build up with the site. First, I had to define my goals. Being a second car, but one that will get driven a lot installing a system was a necessity to me. Hey guys, I was originally thinking I was going to go with 2 FI Q 10" or Icons, but moneys tight as many of you would agree. So ive decided 1 FI BL 15" would be better, going to be running off a SAE 1200. 1 thing im wondering is if I would have enough enclosure for the sub. I ran some numbers and I can get 15h X 32w X 12d without sacrificing much of my trunk which i think turns out to be around 3.4 ft. What im wondering is if that would be enough space, or if I should get a little more like 3.5 after displacement and port. Could someone also explain to me about the significance of port area. Im guessing the larger port the louder? Or the more air moves?

Just bought another truck to mess around with and looking into doing a blowthrough. I figured if I'm doing a blowthrough I wanted to do 4 15s. I'm gonna purchase a h/o alt of course. My first option is 4 sundown sa 15s running off of a crescendo bc3500d or a sundown saz 2500d. Looking to only spend about $800 on the amp. Would the crescendo out do the saz for the same dollar pretty much? 2nd option was to get a lil louder. 4 sundown zv4 15s running off of 2 crescendo bc3500d or 2 saz 2500d.
