Alright well iv decided to get a 15"ssd with a soundstream rub1600. I need power wire... and should i get a capacitor?... i have all stock electrical. But i ordered a volt meter to watch and make sure my voltage dosnt go to low... but i am thinking a 5 cuft box with pvc ports... tuned to like 35hz... or lower... not sure yet. Possibly square interchangable ports.. its going in a tundra access cab.. any ideas? I have a sheet of like 3/8" plastic for a window in the box. Possible leds in the box... not sure yet but def a window. So any crazy ideas to make this build original? Im 18 but pretty skilled with a saw and router.. let me know.

Can anyone help me ? I am trying to run the factory video sound thru my head unit. Now I am new to this so be easy with the terms and all . What I own 1999 Oldsmobile Sillhouette JVC El Kameleon Head Unit MTX 12" Sub I am not sure if you need more info but if you do feel free to ask. Hello everyone , i have a 1996 honda civic with a factory cassette player in the floor console, it looks like a single DIN opening, has anyone ever install a cd player into that opening? That would be nice to keep the factory stereo in trhe factory spot and keep my cd player down low.well thanks for any replies........... Brian

Hey guys I just plugged in my Fi Q 12d2 to my sundown SAX-1200(refurbished by db-r) to test and make sure everything is working properly. I have a Audiocontrol LC2i to signal the sundowns RCA to the speaker level wiring of my factory sub to the factory amp. I'm 90% sure I have all the wiring done correctly. The sundown amp remote on is ran from the LC2i output. The sundown amp light turns on when I turn on the car so I'm pretty sure the GTO on the LC2i is working properly. I wired it parallel testing out low volume with the sub just sitting on its magnet and get no sound/vibration. Hey guys, my friend asked me if i can install his first aftermarket car audio system. It consists of a 12" jl audio w3v2 single 4ohms in a ported box about 1.75cubicft tuned 35hz. Powering it is a quantum audio 2000w monoblock @ 4ohms. Car is a 2010 chevy cruze. He doesnt want to upgrade his headunit, so the only option is a line out converter. Im not too familiar with these and wanted to know if anyone here has had experience and can refer me to a good one? Hi guys, I've been a member here for quite a while and every time I needed help with anything audio you guys know exactly what's best and offer the best advice. With that being said, I'mtrying to figure out what's best to put in a 2011 Chevy Silverado LT Crew cab under the back seat. I've found pre made boxes online for 10s and 12s, but I can't figure out what sub to pick. Nothing crazy, I don't even plan to hit over 1000Watts with two 12s. I was looking for input on what you guys would suggest? Note: probably going to be powered with what's I'm my closet (Alpine m1000). Also, if you guys know of an enclosure you think would be best definitely post it. Thanks!

I haven't posted on here in awhile, so figured I would give a quick review of my newly installed setup. Vehicle is a 2003 S-10 extended cab. Decided to switch to Kenwood with this install and running a DNX6980 receiver. Front stage consists of a Focal Access three way setup with the midbass in the stock door location and the mids and tweets in the dash. Running this off of a Boss Havoc that I purchased from the group buy on here two years ago. For now I am just running them off two channels, and using the other two channels to power my pair of 12" DCON's. I have the Audiopipe pushing a ICON 12. Is that enough amp to push the sub. I have it hooked up right now and well it doesn't get much louder than my stock speakers.

Ok so, I have 2 hdc3 18's and 2 bc2ks. The bc2k's will be running at .6 each. I am planning to run them at 14cubes at 36hz. I want it to have just a tad more lower end. Will running about 2500rms per sub be ok for that box size?

Sup guys! I was wondering/ asking myself.. On birtsheets from Rockford Fosgate or Kicker, etc amps, why do diferent wattage ratings come up on birthseets? If a zx2500.1 is built the same as the next zx2500.1 built why would one say I.E 2,753 vs the second amp that says 2,945? If they both consist of the same parts and what not, why would power variate instead of being similar? Thanks for the input

HI fellas, I recently bought a 1999 Buick Park Avenue and am in need of your expertise. So far I have a Kenwood KVT-911 DVD, 2 12" JLW7's, Audiobahn 2300HCT { I know you guys hate Audiobahn, but I got it the year it came out brand new in box for $100 and 2 very old pioneer IMPP's} that has never even been used, I plan to run it at 1ohm. I am now looking for a nice used 4 channel amp for around $100 on craigslist, I want 65-75rms per channel. I need suggestions on a good pair of 6x9 and 4x6 to run off the 4 channel, I would not like to spend more than $125-150 for both sets. 2nd question is the car has another set of 4x6's upfront also, could I run an identical set of 4x6 …

welp once again, i found a dumbass on craigslist with some good shit and didnt know what it was worth. 2 orion hcca 10's in a nice ported box for $300 lol. i had just enough cash to buy them but i decided to do the right thing and save it for my girls birthday next week..... so i haded the deal to my buddy. he ended up getting them for $250.... lolzzzz after work tonight (130am) we took both subs out the box expection them to be blown or atleast really dark coils but to my surprise, they look almost new!. i shot a little video for yall. okay...so idk what is going on with my system - everytime i turn it up it gets SO distorted I cant even play it..and when I say turn up I mean like just a cpl clicks, like 3/40. i thought it may have been the RCAs but ran a brand new one straight back to my amp and still getting distortion...could it be a bad ground - that's the only other thing I can think off? it does it with both my mono and 4ch amp...
